What Does She Mean?

In the Fire scene, when Kovu rescues Kiara and they`re back in the Pridelands, Kiara says something I`ve never understood the meaning of.

Kiara is angry at Kovu for rescuing her, claiming she had everything under control.
Kovu then replies: "Not from where I was standing."
Then Kiara says: "Then move downwind."

What does she mean by that?

I think it means she wants him to go away. I've always wondered about it too, but I think that's the reason.

I was never bothered about it, but I think she means for him to go away.

I've always felt sooo stupid for not understanding this =/ It never even crossed my mind that she might have meant that she wanted him to go away,but now that you've pointed it out it totally makes sense to me lol.

I agree with everyone else. I never understood the meaning of this line either until LilT and TLP explained it lol. Now I just feel retarded.

I think because Kovu says "not from where I'm standing" she says "well move doen wind" because he should see it as a different angle, and "moving downwind" might do this...?
I dunno it might not be that but thats how I think of it.

I think that makes sense, both Kiara saying it just to make him go away, and as Pixie said, telling him to see things from a different angle.

I agree with the seeing things from a different angle, since in hunting the lion wants to remain downwind, since its sense of smell is heightened (aka its senses are better and has a better idea of what is going on). Of course she didn't literally mean downwind in this case, just a metaphor to get a clearer view of the situation.

What I don't get is that it takes Kiara that long to figure out who it was that saved her, or for that matter how it took that long to figure out he was an outsider. She was perfectly capable of turning her back to him until he moved to block her path, wow that was bright.
