Kali's eyes widened at Simba's declaration. "Well, I must say, I'm impressed with you, then! You seem to have a natural endurance, although I can tell that you probably pushed yourself a little further than you should have."

She smiled at him. "Nevertheless, if this is what you're like now, it will be interesting to see where you go...I get the feeling you'll be a very strong warrior in time...as will all your friends."

Tanga frowned as Marini placed Uhuru on her back. "You sure you want to carry her, Rini? I can do it," he offered as they made their way slowly back around the hill.

Simba siled slightly at Kali, before getting to his feet. He couldn't deny the fact that he might have pushed himself a little too far than he should have, but the fact that he managed to was cheerful for him.

Marini was still a little tired, but carrying Uhuru wasn't making it any harder for her, "Actually I was doing fine, but if you insist..." Marini said, laughing slightly, picking Uhuru, who seemed to be asleep and placing her on Tanga's back instead.

Kali returned Simba's smile, before making her way to her mate's side, flopping down beside him with a tired sigh. "I'm out of shape," she said simply, smiling at her mate. "Looks like it was a good idea to suggest this, in more ways than I expected."

Tanga smiled, accepting Uhuru's weight as Marini placed his little sister on his back. Looking over his shoulder, he noticed that she already seemed to be asleep, and adjusted her position so her paws were around his neck, which would stop her falling off. "Feel better?" he asked as they walked, feeling slightly odd with Uhuru's head resting in his short mane. "She was quick to drift off, though," he commented with some amusement.

Busara smiled back at his mate, "Really? How come?" he asked, wanting to hear about how did everybody else do.

Simba lay himself down next to everybody else, deciding to give his body a few more minutes of rest before checking on Nala and his mother, and Tanga, Marini and Uhuru if they came back by then.

Marini smiled at the sight of the two siblings, "I'm nto surprised, she made the same distance we did, and she's just a cub." Marini said, still surprised that Uhuru managed to achieve this.

Tanga smiled. "Yeah...but then, from what I've seen of her so far, she seems like a very energetic one, so I guess she'd naturally be good at this." He then looked around as they closed in on the starting point. "Well, I think everyone stopped, since no-one's passed us...I wonder how far Simba actually managed to get?"

Nala smiled as Simba came up to them. "Wow, Simba! I saw you run in just now...how did you do that?" she asked, amazed at the feat he had pulled.

Kali smiled. "If I had made that run when I was in top shape, I probably could have done a third lap...so it seems I'll getting myself into shape along with the rest of them, as well." She then looked up, noticing Tanga, Marini and Uhuru had yet to come back just yet. "But they all did really well...a lot better than I had expected, especially Simba. This training might go a little faster than I had predicted."

Marini looked at Tanga, she was also curious about how far did Simba get, "I don't know... " she said, looking at Uhuru again, smiling at the peaceful expression he cub [censored] on her face.

Simba looked at Nala, "I... don't know." he said, trying to think to himself how did he really do it.

Busara smiled at his mate's words, "That's good." he said, knowing that the sooner they were to return to Pride Rock, the better. "Uhuru continued running after the first lap even though she was already behind. I'm curious about how far did she get to?" he half said half asked.

"I don't know," Kali replied. "Tanga and Marini got about halfway, but Uhuru fell behind...we'll just have to wait and see."

Nala smiled, giving her boyfried a quick nuzzle. "Guess it was about time you beat me in something, huh?" she said playfully, smirking at him.

Tanga smiled as they finally into sight of the others. "Guess we're about to find out, though," he said, making his way towards the others, noting that Simba and Kali were both resting with Nala, Sarabi and Busara...meaning everyone had stopped.

Simba smirked back at Nala, returning her nuzzle, "Maybe." he said, laughing slightly. He itended on beating her in a wrestle some day, it would be the greatest 'revnge' of all.

Seeing Simba and Kali already back, Marini guesed that they ended somewhere around the ending of the second lap, since they were already back with everybody else.

Kali smiled as she noticed the last three runners returning, but her smile vanished when she noticed Tanga was carrying his sister. "Uhuru?" she called, jumping to her paws. "Is she okay?" she called, addressing either Tanga or Marini.

Nala looked up as Kali cried out, also looking over at Tanga and Marini. both of them seemed exhausted, but Uhuru was completely out of it on Tanga's back...if it weren't for Kali's worry, she might have commented on how cute the sight was, the big brother carrying the little sister back like that.

Tanga looked up as his mother cried out. "It's okay, mum!" he called, back, "she's just tired...I think she's asleep."

Marini hurried to say something, "She got as far as we did, and she fell asleep." she called to Kali, "She's okay!"

Busara smiled proudly as Marini said that Uhuru got as far as she and Tanga did. For her small size, it was probably harder.
