Honestly, I don't. I'm confused as to how all you guys say 'Kopa's such an amazing character' when I really don't see him as a character at all. =P

Kopa is (to me) just a face in the TLK 6 new adventures books. His personality and character and traits and really everything about him is up to interpretation. Sure, we get a glimpse of his personality in the books, but going on that would be akin to judging Simba based on the first five minutes of TLK. Does everyone else know him more intimately somehow?

I don't deny his existence, I just see him as an empty shell. He's a wonderful launching point for a number of fan fiction / RP ideas and a wonderful OC, but not really as a developed character.

I really like him for being what you said, an empty shell. So typically you can make up his personality, give him a story and count him as an official character (Although you can't count the story official)

I agree, i wouldn't really call him a character but maybe a semi-character

I wish that TLK 1 1/2 was about Kopa instead of Timon and Pumba, coz it would explain more!
Think about it, it could explian why Zira was so hated and called "backstabbing" and "murderous", and why Simba's such an obsessive father. Thats if you believe in the story of Zira killing him. It wouldve been awesome. I wish Kopa was included.

Personally, what I make of Kopas personality from the books is this:

He loves to hear stories.
He`s sensitive and gets upset easily.
He`s very curious and inquisitive. (asks a lot of questions)

That`s what I remember at the moment, will post more when I`ve read the books again.
