Yeah, me too...this is completely unmissable!

Yes the PS3 is a Blu-Ray player...even the games are on Blu-Ray discs, I believe.

*scatches head* Maybe I should get one of those instead of just a Blu-Ray player...either way, I'm definitely getting one or the other by Spring 2011 (Fall 2011 for all you in the northern hemisphere)
