The Lion King IV:Chosen By Spirits

I think that maybe I will change the name later,but I need to look how will fanfic end.
Well,this fanfic will be about Outlanders more than Pridelanders.It will be about Outlander Saidia,the lioness,chosen by her spirit guide,her father Zego,to take over the PrideLands.But,everything will terribly wrong later,not only for Outlanders,but for Pridelanders too...
I know it looks like Simba's Pride,but it will not.It will be different.


Chapter I:The New Princes


1 part:

Dark morning as usual in the Outlands...New day started to all Pridelanders enemies...But this day was unlike the others...
This day was special for most of all the Outsiders.Special because of the new birth in the lands.Long awaited,long wanted birth of new cub.Long awaited new,new chosen throne to take over the PrideLands finally born...Everyone were guessing who it will be:male or female?Everyone wished of a male...New,strong and devil like them male cub...
The lioness was sitting in the dark cave and looking into the outside.She saw how appeared other lionesses to meet the new,long awaited throne...Everyone sit around the lioness and looked at the cub.Lioness smiled...
One of the lionesses that were sitting around,Shuzi,asked:
-So,what gender our new heir of PrideLands has?Male or female?
Cub's mother smiled:
-Female...I know you wished for male,but,female,if not the Pridelands heir,will make at least a great hunter and fighter...That's what we need the most.-she looked at her cub happily.Mother's name was Separi.
Happily looking at the newborn,Shuzi asked:
-What will be our princess name?
Separi looked at the little newborn princess and smiled like she had remembered something.
-When Zego was still alive,I have talked with him...He had said that if his cub will be female,he want to name her Saidia.So,I'll call her Saidia,only to finally done his wish...
Separi,Shuzi and other lionesses looked at the cub.Princess Saidia was looking at them,without any know about her future...
Shuzi smiled.
-She reminds you a lot,Separi.Only if Zego could see this...
-Yeah...He's a father.He had wanted this to happen a long time...
After those words Separi looked into the red sky.In the one side of the sky it looked like there's a bright little star,shining at them.Separi smiled:
-Thanks for appearing,Zego,my love...Your daughter finally born...I hope she will always act in the way you want...
Then Separi closed her eyes and smiled,feeling the wind blowing though her fur...



Morning.Light,beautiful morning like always in Pridelands...All the animals gathered near the Pride Rock to look at the new prince of PrideLands.Rafiki was on Pride Rock,near the new kings,Kiara and Kovu.Kiara was holding a newborn.Simba and Nala were died already.They died of old age.All the pride were sad about that a long time ago,but now everyone wants to forget it.Kovu was worried about the new responsibility:the kingship.Kiara as worried too...A new cub,a kingship,all the responsibility about the lands and pride...
Now they all were standing on the PrideRock,looking at the land,the animals...Rafiki finally held up the newborn.All the animals looked respectly at him and lowered their heads.Rafiki moved his head up and saw Simba and Nala up in the clouds.They were happily looking at them.Kiara and Kovu smiled too.Finally the royal family get back to the cave.Rafiki gave newborn back to Kiara and she layed down with the male cub in her legs.She smiled at Kovu who was sitting near her.
-Kovu,isn't our cub beautiful?
-Yeah,just like you...-Kovu answered and kindly nuzzled Kiara.
-How will he call him,darling?-Kiara asked.
-Umm...I always wanted to call our cub Kivu.I loved that name.What do you think?
Kiara nuzzled Kovu.
-Okay.-she said and whispered to the newborn.-My little one,now your name will be Kivu.
Little Kivu looked at his parents and smiled.He saw how other lionesses appeared and smiled.It was his first and the most beautiful day...

Chapter 1,2nd part:

The sun just started to shine.All the Outlanders were still sleeping.Only little Saidia was running around the cave.There's was no other cub here in Outlands.Her closest friend was Shuzi.Now everyone was sleeping.Saidia was playing in the cave alone.Shuzi woke up,a bit angrily.
-Saidia!We want to sleep...Play a bit quietly...-Shuzi said and started to sleep again.
-Okay Shuzi...-Saidia said and quietly walked outside.She ran on a big rock and looked into the horizont.She saw PrideLands.
-Wow...What a great land!So that's why mother always talk about it...I think it feels good to rule it...-she thought when looking at it.She noticed a shadow of a big rock in the horizont.She sighed.
-What's that rock?I'll ask my mum about it...-Saidia said and ran back to the cave.She saw her mother standing in front of her.Separi said:
-Okay Saidia,let's go training.
-Okay mom.-Saidia said and walked with Separi away from the cave.While walking,she asked.-Mom?What's that big rock in the PrideLands?
Separi looked at Saidia.-It's called Pride Rock.There lives those evil lions we need to fight with.We want to live in beautiful,better place,right?So,if we do,we need to fight against them and win that place.So,that's why I'm training you.If you'll not be a good fighter,we will be defeated and never got a chance to live in that place.Understand now,Saidia?
-Yes I do,mom.I'll fight against everyone to gave us better life,mom.-Saidia said and smiled.
-That's my daughter...-Separi smiled and nuzzled Saidia.-You're just like your father.
-I wish he could be with us,mom...
-I wish too,my darling...But he's always with us.Do not forget it.
-I do not,mom.Let's go training...



Early morning.Little Kivu was walking around already.He went to the Waterhole,where his parents were.
-Hello mom and dad.
Kiara and Kovu turned around and nuzzled Kivu.
-Good morning,son.You finally woke up.
-Yes.And,mom,I want to ask you a question.Is there any other cubs around here?Cause I don't have anything to play with...
Kiara and Kovu sighed.
-I don't know,Kivu.There must be,cause we're not the only pride around.
-Oh,right.So,what are we supposed to do?
-I don't know,my darling.I need to go hunting.You stay with dad now,okay?-Kiara said and called other lionesses for hunt and ran away.
Kivu looked at Kovu.
-Dad,why you're not going to hunt?
-Because only lionesses can do that job.We,males,are too heavy to catch an animal by ourselves.If lionesses caught a big animal,we can help them to kill it,but nothing else.
-Oh...Okay.Then...-Kivu yawned.-I'm sleepy.I'll go back to the cave.
-Okay son.-Kovu said and followed him.

Chapter II:Two wonderful meetings...

1st part:


Saidia had grown up.After all her childhood of training,she became strong and fierce lioness,great hunter.She became the best huntress and fighter of whole her pride.They were really proud of her.
Saidia was walking around the lands until she felt the wind blowing though her fur.The wind wasn't the same.It was stronger.Then she heard a voice behind her:
-Saidia...
She turned around and saw a spirit.It was a lion.Saidia was shocked.
-Who are you?
-I'm Zego.I'm your father,Saidia.You've grown up just like I wanted.Look Saidia,you're the only one from the lions that can talk with us,spirits.I'm your spirit guide...If you'll need any advise,just ask me...-Zego said and disappeared.
-Wait!Father...I...-Saidia shouted but Zego was gone already.She was too much shocked.She decided better to not tell about this to anyone,even to her mother.She ran back to the cave and layed down.She closed her eyes and Zego appreared again.This time he hadn't say anything to her,just appeared in her dreams.While sleeping she said:
-Father...Wait...
Separi saw her daughter sleeping and talking.She woke her up.
-Saidia?Wake up!What are dreaming about?
-Oh no,nothing mother.I was dreaming about a father.Everything's okay.-Saidia nuzzled Separi.-I'm thirsty.I'll go to look for a drink.-she said and went out of the cave.When she went out of their sights,she started to run as fast as she can,to the PrideLands...Near the border of Outlands she knew a river she could drink.She ran to it started to drink.Then looked at PrideRock.And thought:
-I'll go to look to that PrideRock.Mother will not say anything...I'll say that I was spying.-she thought and ran to the place near the PrideRock.There she saw some lions drinking.She snarrled,cause she knew that those lions are her enemies.She hided behind the bush to make sure that no one will see her.



Kivu had grown up.He was strong,brave and very kind.All the pride loved him.Now he was standing on top of the PrideRock and looking into the lands.He felt so proud of himself.Then he ran down to take a drink.He heard a strange sound near,but didn't pay any attention to it.He didn't knew that it was Saidia...


Saidia looked and looked.She saw a lion,young adult like she,just male.She was looking at him and couldn't move her eyes away.He looked so proud,so beautiful...Finally she moved her eyes away and said to herself:
-Saidia?What's happen to you?Why are you looking at him?He's just a Pridelander...Your enemy...
But she couldn't stop herself from looking at him.He followed his every step with her eyes until he gone out of her sight.Then she smiled and said:
-Whoa...He's...beautiful...
And then realized:
-Saidia!What are you talking?!I can't fall in love with my enemy!No!Never!-she shouted on herself again and ran back home,as fast as she could...

Sounds great, I like how you're showing the outlander perspective which Simba's Pride did not. When you tell the outlander's story it makes for a much better fan fic XD

Alright, I'll admit it. This story's got me hooked. Good work. I already read about Saidia on the Original Characters area and she seems like a very interesting character, though I would like to know a bit more about Kivu, such as his appearance. Anyway, I'll definitely be waiting for the next chapters.

Chapter II

2nd part:


Separi was waiting for Saidia near the entrance of the cave.She saw Saidia running back.When Saidia was near,she asked:
-Saidia?Where have you been?
-I...I was spying the Pridelanders.I thought it will be good.-Saidia answered.
-Good daughter.Great job.-Separi smiled and nuzzled Saidia.-Have you seen anything?
-Yes.Kiara and Kovu have a son.He's young adult like me.
-Really?Well...I think we should attack now.If we would not,that son of them would become more heavier and stronger than us.I will note the lionesses to get ready for a coming fight...-Separi said and went to the cave.
Saidia looked at her mother and went to her favorite place near the big rock,layed down and closed her eyes.Then that Pridelander appeared in her dreams again.She tried to not think about him,but she just couldn't.It was more than hard.She didn't realized when she felt that she was smiling.Then thought:
-My mother is going to fight against his pride...I want them to die.Everyone could die,only that lion could stay alive...I like him...Really much...
She smiled again and started to sleep.

Zego was looking at his daughter from the sky.He lowered his head and said to himself.
-I thought that you're stronger,Saidia...But,you fell in love with Pridelander...That weak lion Kivu...But,you're stronger than Kivu's father...I'm sure you'll not give up on the fight and will not stop the fight...I trust you.-he said and dissapeared.


Kivu stopped drinking and went to look around the Pridelands.Everything was okay,so he went back to PrideRock.Lionesses have caught a meal for them already.He sat down and started to eat.Then looked at his father.
-Father,is it hard to be king?
Kovu looked at his son and smiled.-Not as easy as I thought.Apart that I just became king,I can say that it's not easy.You have to make good decisions,or you will kill all the lands.What I can say is that your grandpa was a way better king than I am.
-Why are you saying that?
-Because he was really wise.He had taught me a bit about rulling the lands.Then I did not realized how it's hard,but now I do...King Simba...I wish he could be there with us and taught me and Kiara on how to rule the lands...
Kiara heard their talk and put her head into Kovu's mane.
-My father...The best king I've ever seen...Well,except you,Kovu.-she looked at Kovu and laughed.
-Thank you,Kiara.Your always comforting me.That's why I love you so much.-he licked Kiara's cheek and finished talking with Kivu.-Your grandma was a best queen too.And the most beautiful,I could say.-then looked at Kiara and nuzzled her.-Except you,Kiara.-he smiled.
Kivu looked into the sky.
-I wish I could meet them now...I can imagine that they were wonderful kings.
-It's true,son.They were...-Kiara and Kovu answered and looked into the sky too.

Chapter III:The fight and the lose

1st part:

The next morning all the lionesses in Outlands were up really early.This day was special for them.It was a day of a first fight between two prides...
All the lionesses stood in a line.Saidia stood with them too.It was her first fight.Separi stood in front of them and started to talk:
-Lionesses!This is our first fight so far,so try to not make rid of it.We have to win,even if it means fighting thousand times!Do you understand?
Lionesses nodded.
-So,I think we all are ready.Just do not forget what have you learned.So,let's go!
Separi started to walk to the Pridelands,all the lionesses behind her.Saidia looked into the sky and saw her father,smiling.She smiled and winked to him too.
Zego was smiling and thinking:
-My little daughter...Going to fight!That's awesome...Good luck,my daughter!-he said then looked at Separi.-Good luck,my love...-he said,dissapeared and appeared near the PrideRock.


Zazu was flying around and looking around the lands.Suddenly he noticed a group of Outlanders coming.
-Oh no!Not now...-he flew to the PrideRock and shouted.-Kovu!Kiara!Kivu!Outlanders are coming!
Kovu and Kivu were there.They heard everything.
-What?!Outlanders!?No...-Kovu ran into the cave.-Lionesses!Get ready!Outlanders are coming!
All the lionesses quickly stood up and ran outside.Kiara too...

Separi,Shuzi,Saidia and other lionesses were near the PrideRock already.They saw Kiara and Kovu coming with their pride.Their pride was bigger,but Separi's lionesses were stronger and better trained.Separi smiled when she saw Kovu.
-They're brave,like I can see...But,all their braveness will gone when they will see that we're stronger...-she said and quietly laughed.
Saidia was standing near Separi.She saw Kivu.She couldn't take that anymore.She hided behind Separi,but still looked at him.


Kivu was standing near Kiara.He asked:
-So,there are those Outlanders?
-Yes,my son.It's them...-Kiara answered.
Kivu walked few steps closer and stood proudly,looking at them.He noticed Saidia,hiding behind Separi.-What?Are you afraid?-he said to her and laughed.
Saidia did not answered.She almost started to cry,but she knew that she can't.She walked few steps closer to him.
-I'm Saidia,Separi's daughter.Why do you care about me?
Kivu laughed.
-I'm Kivu.And why do you think that I care about you?You're too boring to got my attention.-he laughed again.
Saidia was looking at him angrily,but deep inside the thing she wanted to do the most now was to walk up to him,put her head into his mane or lick his cheeks.But she knew that she cannot do that,cause it would look stupid for him and for others.So she answered:
-You're boring too...

Chapter III,2nd part:

Separi shouted:
-Okay,stop you two!So,I won't lose my time...-she said,turned to lionesses and shouted.-ATTACK!
Pridelanders and Outlanders attacked eachother.It was a big fight.First it was like that Pridelanders will win,but later Outlanders got them down.Saidia was fighting against other lioness,just not Kivu.When nobody had attacked her,she just looked at him.He looked more beautiful when fighting...Then she was attacked by other lioness.She got been pinned to the ground,but stood up and started to chase that lioness.She pushed the lioness into the river behind the big tree.The lioness drowned.Then Saidia sat down behind that tree.She was too much tired to fight.

Kivu was fighting against Separi.At the first he was fighting pretty good,but later became tired.Separi used it:she pushed Kivu to the rock.He lost his power.Separi ran to him and was ready to kill him,but he quickly stood up and ran away.Separi started to chase him.He ran and ran when he reached the huge cliff.He stopped himself from running,but that time Separi run into him and pushed him down.He almost falled,but had sticked into the cliff with his jaws.Separi smiled at him:
-Goodbye,young prince...-she said and took his paws of off cliff.
Kivu shouted:
-No!!!-and falled down...
Separi laughed and ran back to the pride.

Saidia had watched all this.She wanted to shout,,No!!",but she knew that she cannot.She saw that all her pride was running back to Outlands.Pridelanders were chasing them.Saidia didn't went with them.She ran down the cliff to the place where Kivu was fallen.She ran to him.He was laying down,not breathing.She looked at him,and,in the first time of her life,she started to cry.She moved her head closer to him and whispered:
-Kivu...Kivu!Wake up!You can do it...C'mon!-she touched him,and her eyes were filled with tears.She saw that he's really died.She layed down near him and put her head into his mane.And stayed here crying,all night long...

Chapter IV:Run Away

1st part:

Separi and pride ran away back home.They looked around.
-Is everyone still here?-Separi shouted.Other lionesses nodded.
-Okay then...-she said and was ready to go inside the cave when she realized.-Wait!Where's Saidia?!-she turned to lionesses.-Have any of you seen Saidia?
-No.-all the lionesses answered.
-Where is she?-Separi shouted and ran outside to look for her.

Zego was watching Saidia,crying.Then appeared to her.
-Daughter...He's a Pridelander...Our enemy...Stand up and go,my princess...-he said.
Saidia looked at her father's ghost.
-But dad...You know that I love him...-she said while crying.
-I do,my darling...But,it must come...You need to come back home.Your mother is worried about you.-Zego said.
-No!Anywhere,but not home!-Saidia said,stood up,nuzzled and licked Kivu's cheek one last time and ran away.
Zego looked at her running.
-Hope you'll find what you're looking for...-he said and dissapeared from that place.


Kiara,Kovu and other lionesses were ready to go home,but then they saw that Kivu is not here.
-Kivu!Kivu,come here!-Kovu shouted.No one answered.Then he said.-I'll go look for him.-and went away.He went,looking for everywhere.Finally he reached the big cliff.He called Kivu,but got no sound.Then ran down the cliff and looked around.Suddenly he saw a body of a dead lion.He ran to it and,when he saw what it was,he was shocked:it was Kivu!Kovu layed down and touched him.
-Kivu...Kivu!My son!Get up!You must...Get up!-Kovu shouted,but he saw that Kivu is dead.He shouted.-NO!!!-and started to cry.
Kiara heard all this.She ran to that direction.When reached a cliff,she ran down and saw Kovu,laying down,crying.She ran to him and asked:-What's happen,Kovu?-then saw Kivu's dead body.-K...K...Kivu?!-she almost shouted.
-He's dead,Kiara.Our son is dead...-Kovu said while crying.
-No...It couldn't be true...No...NO!!!-she shouted and layed down too,crying.


Saidia had watched all this from the one spot.She was crying too.Then turned around,looked into the sky and thought:
-Mother...I have always loved and respected you...But now,that you've killed my one true love...You'll pay for this!All your pride will pay for this!!-she almost shouted when she thought about the last words.Then really ran away.
