[Muffy]

The young lioness, who was named Jua, who was rarely reconized went into the forest and met a little bit older lion latari he was a planner and had dark intentions for this young lioness he talked with her during his spare time they trained and planned to become the new rulers of the pridelands and rule with tooth and claw and will get anything we want and will destroy anyone come in their way.

Jua slowly crept out from under a bush. At Last, my mom gone! She thought as she trotted off into the forest. Her mom never liked it when she ran off into the forest. She always rolled her eyes and went along with it. She need to get out on her own. Her mom always worried other lions and lionesses would hurt her out in the forest. She didnt care what her mom said. What Jua said was for her to follow.

She walked slowly past some caves. She trying not to make a sound. She didnt want to wake anyone that was in there. She would most likely get ripped to shreads and die. She shivered at the thought of that and puch a small rock, that made a sound. She stared at her paws then at the cave before darting off for her life. She didnt look behind not waiting to stop. She didnt want to see if something was chasing her or if something was chasing her. She darted around a tree abd climbed into another trees trunk. She heard something pass by and she ducked her head more into the tree trunk. She hoped this animal didnt see her. She quickly looked out, seeing no one there. Jua sighed with relief as she climbe out of the tree and shook the dust off of her fur. She looked around and slowly creeped farther into the forest trying not to make a sound until she knew she was far away. Jua knew she should of turned around and went home, but then she thought "I would never get another chance back into the woods!" So she toke one last look at the tree trunk thn headed off into the forest, making not even a peep. "Man, that was a close, lucky me I didnt look to see what it was" She mumbled to herself as she pranced along the forest having a great time. She didnt know what could make her mad that she didnt just turn back and run home after that chasing of hers. But she ever since she stepped into this forest, she got the feeling someone was watching her, like a lion planning a plan. She didnt know what the feeling exactly meant so ignore it and scampered off not turning back until sun down...

But there was someone watching her, she just didnt know who, and why...

[Latari]

Latari watched from a distance at the young lion do whatever she pleased. He aso saw how fast she could run. He had watched from the shadows with his peircing amber eyes. Maybe she was the one he needed to help him he needed to observe her more closely. He burst at of the shadows as a blur closer towards her. He looked and grin at her. "She is the one," he growled.

[Muffy]

Jua slowly walked stepping on crumbled leaves. She heard the noise and jumped. She looked at her paws and saw all the broken leaves and sighed. She swat the leaves away and slumped down. "Who needs me, Im loud and not good for anyone." She mumbled and sighed. She shook her head and looked around, "Im useless! Who needs me!" She yelped, the words echoed, as she said them, as they sprang out of her mouth. She looked around. Seeing if anyone could see or hear her. She hope not. She didnt want lions or lionesses to come by and make fun of her, yelping at the air and at no one. She just slumpered off thinking to herself, Should I go back home? So looked back and smiled. "There is no home like the one you got, because that home belongs to you!" She mumbled her moms words. Her mom always said that to her. She just shook her head and walked away from her house without another word.

[Latari]

Latari took silent steps towards her. "You are not useless," he growled at her. "You can be anything you want to be if you join me," he said softly. He looked at her whole body and took in every aspect of her. "I will explain farther of my plan if you want to join me you don't have to join me right away and by the looks of you, you most certaintly don't look useless," he said. "If you need time to think about it meet me back her tommorow at night if you can," he growled. He looked around their surroundings to make sure there was no one watching. "And also don't tell anybody you talked with me," he mummered. "And one more thing my name is Latari what is yours," he smirked at her.

[Muffy]

Jua thought for a moment, a place were she wasnt useless! Well why not join! She smirked back. "The name is Jua." She said swifting her tail under his tail "If you say I will not be useless when I join you!" She smiled hge knowing that she meant a yes. "I will join you. My whole family thinks Im useless and doesnt care about me, I want to be in a place were Im not useless and can learn different fighting moves." She said with a growl as if she was going to attack. She looked at Latari and smiled. He seemed really nice... he could like me more than my normal family. She looked at her path back to home and slowly hissed at it, then turning to Latari. "So do we have like a special markings on our fur, or code names?" She asked jumping around him. She noticed he just stood there. She rolled her eyes and stood tall and hard. But she slowly grew a smile.

[Latari]

Latari chuckled at jua. He had already start to like her. "Thank you for joining and you will never be useless to me a matter of fact you will be one of the most usefull thing in my life, but i must warn you i have dark intentions," he said. Latari got into a battle stance and darted to the side of here and went across her soft belly with sheathed claws so it wouldnt hurt. "Ill teach you battle moves and defense too," as he just showed her a small demonstation. He smiled at her. "Well my mark is just a simple X mark across my chest," he said showing her his chest and for the code names ive never thought of that, you could make some up if you like," he said. He got in a playful stanc as if he wanted to play fight he smirked.

[Muffy]

Jua looked at were he clawed at. She just looked at him and growled. Then, Jua thought for a moment of a mark for her. Then she smirked. "How about a lightning bolt on my side!? Or... Or..." She said chuckling to herself. She then smiled. "Your code name could be dark or I ould just call you leader, and I could be lightning" She said. Then Latari got in a playful fight stanc. She slowly got in the same stanc and growled at him. "Dont make me show you what I got!" she said unleashing her claws. She looked at the ground and marked it with a lightning bolt. "That could be our markings, mine Lightning bolt, yours an X" She said. She smiled at all her ideas hoping Latari would like each and everyone of them. She looked at Larati waiting to see if he like her mark and would approve her of it.

[Latari]

Yeah lightning bolts are great," he said softly. "And you can call me dark and i'll call you lightning," he growled. Then he walked over to the nearest tree and stcratched an X into it with a satasfied grin. Then he padded back over to her then smilied "you got some great ideas". Then he nudged her head and then his stomach growled. "Well lets catch us some prey, there's plenty of plump squirrels and mouses to eat," he said while smacking his lips.

[Muffy]

Jua smiled happily at his reaction. She scracthed into her fur a lightning bolt and slowly walk off with to get prey. She was pretty hungry after what happened today. She slowly crouched down and sniffed around. Sh soon caughtthe sent of mice. "Psst Dark, over here!" Sh whispered trying not to make a sound. She slowly walked over to were she pointed at, and... pounced! There lay 2 dead mice! She was happy to see them. But then sh caught the scnt of another animal. She walked and walked until she found it. It was a half eaten squirrel, "Dont animals know how to picked after themselfs!" She growled and swated at the squirrel, sending it flying off. She then, crept off back to Latari. Jua knew she had to tell him about th squirrel... but how will she have evidence that she saw it. She just shook her head and ran back to Latari

[Latari]

Latari saw Jua go after her prey with good hunting skills. Quickly he opended his mouth and caught the scent of a squirrl. He stalked toward it then it hear him and it sprang for a tree but he was to quick half-way to the tree Latari stopped the squirrl with a bone crushing strike to its spine. He smile with prey in his mouth satisfied with his catch.He tasted the warm blood of it in its mouth, his mouth watered. As he came back to where he started he saw lightning bounding toward him. He wondered wat she caught. He sped up and met with her and droped his prey down.
