Favourite maeaning of the characters names?

Sarabi [Mirage]
Serafina [Bright Star]

Those are my top three favorites, but I do like the others as well. For the male's names, I think that Kovu is my favorite. It may be a pun on Taka/Scar, but it still has a lot of foreshadowing to his character even at the start.

What always struck me funny was that 'Kiara' is an Irish name.

I love Sarafina's meaning, Bright star <3 and I really like how Disney did Kovu's meaning too, (Kovu means Scar in Swahili). Like Scar even lives in his name 0.o another one of my favourites is Ahadi, which I think means Promise.
But yeah, you gotta feel sorry for Nuka

Back on topic, I really love the meaning of Kovu. It totally fits him, because it means 'scar', and he's Scar's heir. ^^ I really like the meaning of Taka (Scar's name) too, because it means 'dirt' and 'want'. (It also means 'garbage', but I don't like that meaning )
