Geno was silent during that entire conversation. He was sure that his grandfather has died from old age a long time ago, but meeting him for the first time after all that time of believing so was just too wierd. Out of boredom, he turned his gaze downwards and examined his sprained leg with a sigh. It no longer hurt, unless he leaned against it, and standing on just three legs was simply tiring. After a short moment of silence, he looked back towards where the two stags were having their conversation, only to find out that his grandfather dissapeared, just like that.
As always, his father's words left him absolutley confused, and when his father was done talking, Bambi turned to look at Geno, who was trying to stand up on all of his four legs, but winced slightly when his hoof touched the ground. As far as Bambi understood, Geno's injury was just a sprain, and it seemed like it would naturally heal in a few days. Suddenly Geno looked up at him with a rather confused and shocked expression, which left Bambi confused untill he glanced around him and saw that his father literally vanished. With a sigh, he turned back to look at Geno, "It's okay. He does that..." he said, giving his son a slight smile, before gesturing in the direction they had come from and the two began making their way back towards the little island were all the animals have gathered on.
