Kali chuckled as she noticed Uhuru's response. "Yeah...and you think it's wierd, don't you?" she asked, amused. "But she does seem very nice...and you seem to be getting along with her."

After resting against Marini for a little while, he looked over towards Busara, silently contemplating whether he should talk to his father about his ever-growing feelings for Marini. His first fear was how Marini would take it, but since she seemed perfectly happy with him leaning against her in front of everyone else, he thought she wouldn't mind this.

In the end, he pulled himself away from Marini, giving her a warm smile and nuzzle. "I'm going to talk to my dad for a bit again...you feel free to do what you want in the meantime."

Pulling away from his girlfriend, he walked over to his father. "Hey, uh...dad? Mind if we talk for a little bit?"

Uhuru looked at her mother. "I know it's wierd." she said, as if it was obvious. But she then smiled at her mother when she said that the two of them get along well. "Yeah, we're getting along well."

Marini smiled back at Tanga as he nuzzled her, "Okay." she said as he walked away. She was happy for Tanga that he was now getting along better with both of his parents. She lay herself down to enjoy the remaining sunlight beams.

Busara turned to Tanga, "Of course you can." he said, thinking that Tanga had something to ask about the training he and his friends were going to go through

Kali smiled once more, before nudging her daughter back in the direction of the group of adolescents. "Go on, then," she said encouragingly, before looking up, noticing Busara and Tanga were walking off, obviously for another talk. Smiling at the two of them, but sighing at the realisation that her cold reception towards Tanga was going to make him connect with his father a lot better, she decided to head back towards the group with her daughter.

Tanga smiled appreciatively at his father, before leading the two of them away from the group, nervously playing with tufts of grass as he walked. He was about to talk about something that was very personal to him...he had not even discussed his relationship much with Sarabi, even. But he trusted Busara, and so forced his nervousness aside enough to let him speak.

"Well, dad...I've...I've never really talked about this much with anyone, but after this morning...I trust you." He sighed, knowing he would just be confusing his dad the more he danced around the subject like this. He wanted to get this right with Marini, and despite the fact that everything had worked out so far, he did not have a clue what he was doing. "You see...this is about...me and Marini..." he said, looking up at his father with a rather shy smile, waiting for his reaction.

Uhuru then made her way back to the group with her mother. She walked over to Marini, who was resting in the sunlight, looking at her and then at Nala and Simba who were busy with eachother.

Busara walked away with Tanga, waiting to hear what was it that made his son seem so nervous. He smiled as Tanga said that he trusted him, everything seemed to have worked out. But it seemed as if Tanga was very apprehensive about telling him this. He then grinned at the shy smile his son gave him when he realised what this was about. Marini seemed like a very kind and caring lioness and the two of them seemed really close to eachother. "Okay... go on." Busara said and waited to hear the rest

Tanga wanderings lead them to the grove of trees that hid hid parents' den, where he sat in the leaves, shuffling his paws nervously. "Well, me and Marini are, uh...going out, and we have been for a while now. And, well...I guess I'm just a little unsure, really."

He sighed, and continued on. "I love her, dad...more than anything. I can't imagine being able to live if she wasn't there...but I'm also confused, because...well..." He sighed once more, and finally spat it out. "I don't know too much about this sort of thing, and, when I'm able to...I want to ask her to be my mate."

Busara was happy that Tanga already had someone special in his life, and in such an early age. When Tanga mentioned about him asking her to be his mate, Busara was surprised that he was the first one to hear about this. After all untill this morning Tanga didn't even consider him as a true father, but now he was telling him something very personal. "Then you should ask her." Busara answered his son after a short silence, he was happy that his son found someone that he loved this much that he wanted to become mates with, "But the two of you are still very young, I would recommend you wait untill you're both a little older."

Tanga nodded. "That's what I thought...but that's problem right now. Four four months now, I've been doing what I think is the right thing in regards to our relationship...but I'm not certain about anything." He then looked up at his father. "But now that you're back in my life...I have someone I can talk to about this." He smiled once more, feeling a lot better now that he had admitted one of his deepest desires to someone else, and gotten some advice in return.

"But I guess with the training you and mum are going to give us, there'll be plenty to keep me occupied until that day, right?"

Busara smiled back at his son, "And when the day does come, I'm sure she'd be more than happy to say yes." he could tell that Tanga was now feeling better. It was probably not easy to keep such a thing to yourself without telling anyone. "I can tell that you love her." he said, trying to talk as someone who sees everything from the side, "And it's quite clear that she loves you too. I'm sure that she also thought about this at least once." he said, quite sure about what he was saying. Marini seemed like a smart lioness, and he was absolutely that she considered the possibility of her and Tanga becoming mates at least once. Even if she didn't think about it, Busara now knew that his son was a kind-hearted, caring, strong-willed lion, and that he loved Marini alot. And since he knew that Marini loved him back, he knew that she must be really blind (or stupid) in order to not see that they were perfect for each other.

Tanga smiled again, looking up at his father. "Thanks...that helps, a lot. I just...I wanted to be sure I was doing the right thing. I could never live with myself if I hurt Marini because I said or did something stupid, but you've helped."

He looked through the trees, noticing the sun was nothing more than a thin strip of light on the western horizon now, as twilight descended on the land. "I guess it's almost time to call it a night. Do you have any place we can set up a den for ourselves or something?" he asked, still not noticing the small den behind him, even though it was most likely too small to fit everyone comfortably in it.

Busara glanced at their den and then back at the rest of the adolescents. Their den could fit the all in, but it would be very pressed for all of them to sleep there. He remembered the cave by the ravine, the one in which Simba and Nala hid during their game. It could be used as a den, also some of the nooks in it were large enough for a lion or two, like another den. It was like a corridor with rooms. "There is another cave, by the ravine on the right end of the hill." he said. before beginning to slowy walk back towards the group, "Our den is big enough for all of us, but it will be too crowded if we all went in there. Do you want to stay inside the other cave with your friends?"
