Imani looked at Mulfalfa and instantly her temper was as red hot as the flames. Something in his eyes...they screamed that he was the cause of this. "I'm sure you did..." her voice hissed, growling low at him while she tried to regain her balance. "So, where's your mate, Mr. Innocent?"
Kioja darted off, looking for the lion she knew well as her best friend and the leader of her pride. Sure enough she found him, looking around almost just as much as she was for him. Once they both made eye contact, they rushed to each other and lightly embraced in thanks that they were both alright and not harmed. "We need to get out of here" Kioja ordered him. Not like Kamau had any objection to her and so he darted off behind her.
"Where are Ra and Imani?" Kamau questioned, looking towards the Kioja in front of him whom looked back at the male.
"Imani is with Tanga and Auni. I don't know where Ra is" she replied. Without any warning, Kamau darted off and attempted to find his younger sister. "Kamau!"
"Go tell the others to run! I'll find Ra". Kioja knew she couldn't argue with him when he had his heart set on something so she only headed back to the others. Mulfalfa had joined them and she looked at the mark on his fur and narrowed her eyes. Intentional marking, and his posture is completely wrong. Too guilty, and his mark is too planned out, she thought. I'll deal with him later, she thought. She didn't hesitate to give him a look that she knew he was up to something and she wouldn't let it go.
"So sorry to see that the burn got you, Mulfalfa" she gave him a smirk and an eyebrow raise, "why didn't you just let it get the rest of you while you were at it?". There was a moment of silence before she sighed and looked down at Imani, "Kamau is looking for your sister. We need to get to higher ground" she turned her body to where there was more water.
Imani looked from Kioja to her mate and then out to where Ra might have been. She was worried beyond belief for her older sister and she was tapping her tail on the ground in fear that Kamau might be harmed as well. None the less, she followed Kioja and looked back at the others to make sure they were following.
