The Wrestler ~ 10/10!

What a great movie. Mickey Rourke gives a heartbreaking performance, seriously he made me cry. Very deserving of his Golden Globe.

Independence day-- 10/10

It may not be too new of a movie but it never disappoints. One of the best films ever made.
The winner for last week's question is...NalaLionQueen. Congratulations!!

This weeks question:What is the only other known place in the universe with a stable body of surface liquid?

Winner and next question will be announced next Sunday.

WALL-E.... 7/10 .... I just liked Eve... she was cool... although, the innacuracy of the movie kinda kills it.. BUT.. still a good movie... by my recalculated standard for Disney movies... cuz if i didn't usa recalculated standard. every 21st century disney movie *that i've seen*.. exept Finding Nemo, and Cars.. would be -15/1000000000000000000000^9945642564264253414...

Amistad 10/10
This movie has jumped into my top 10 movie list, probably even top 5. The story, for those of you who haven't heard of it, is about a group of Africans who are taken from their homes and thrown into the slave trade. Abolitionists make a case out of the group and try going up against the odds in the courts of the United States. I won't spoil much more than that.
This movie was very deep and touching, I think its very important for us Americans to understand our history, even when we don't wish to look back at it. This movie shows us a beautiful example of this history.
For movies to get a 10/10 from me they need to make me cry =P Nuff said, there were a few scenes that made me cry like a baby! This movie is amazing, I would highly recommend it to anyone. It has to be rated R though, so...yeah.

OMG. I would love to see that movie, it sounds so sad. I had never heard of it until now, but now I REALLY want to see it.

Be Kind, Rewind: 8/10

Except for the TLK Reference, which was one of the FUNNIEST things I've ever seen, this movie was just okay. There were some funny parts, but still, the highlight of this movie was obviously the TLK Reference.

I've never heard of it until my parents randomly bought it on DVD. We watched it all together tonight. It is very sad, but also very inspiring. I'm a big fan of sad movies. I don't really know why. I also like tragedies like MacBeth. :ew:

What was the TLK reference in that movie?

Well to start off these kids were choosing what films they wanted, and TLK ended up *randomly* in the Bag, and it got picked. So they had to Re-do a TLK, and then they started talking about how great TLK is, and how deep it is. And then the funny part came, to do the Animated film, they just had paper cut-outs of lions fighting, and Jack Black wanted to say "I want to piss on the Graves of your Ancistors." I was laughing so hard at it, even though it was so unlike TLK, it was still really funny to see.
