I just felt empty, and lost. He said he would always be there for me. And he always was and will be, but at that moment I didn't understand. I felt like an entire part of me was gone.

Why did you wait for the wildebeest to come closer to you in the stampede, rather then just running when you first saw them?

I froze. I was paralysed by shock and panic. It took several seconds for my body to react, I’ve never been so scared in my entire life.

Did you ever have an issue with eating wildebeest after this happened?

Not really, because I ate bugs after, and then I found out that it was Scar who really killed my father.
