I saw Cub Mufasa in some fan art once, and he was depicted with yellow ear-stripes, I thought that was interesting. 
I would love to see him and Scar as cubs, official Disney design.

Mufasa is a strong and powerful king not only in personality and ruling style but the way his body is built also. I also like the deep voice James Earl Jones gave him. He also has a kind of gentle giant quality to him.

I just last night realized how great of a character Mufasa really is. I never really thought about some things until I saw the film last night, after not seeing it for like at least a year. LOL
