Ganya though on the idea for a short while, before deciding to move off with Zira. "If Scar will let me, I think I'd rather join your cause for now. Tanga and Marini have become a large thorn in my side, and I want them gone...besides, I'm a skilled fighter, and a capable assassin, I'm sure you could use another with my skills."

Nala sighed, before deciding on taking another bold venture with Simba. "If you're okay with it, I'd like to think of you as a boyfriend...the Kings know I've wanted to ask you out for months now." To emphasise her point, she gave him another warm nuzzle.

Zira then nodded, "I guess he wouldn't mind having someone like you on his side. But it's up to him. He wont like it when he heard that no one was here."

Simba then smiled at Nala as she named them boyfriend and girlfriend, he didn't mind letting Marini and Tanga know, but he had to ask her opinion first. As he received her nuzzle he returned it, but then he realised that Tanga and Marini were still watching. He then turned to them before letting them know. "I huess we're... going out?" he said and blushed slightly.
Marini then giggled, trying to act like Nala did when she told her about herself and Tanga. "That's so sweet."

Ganya nodded. "If he doesn't want me, I'll just head back to the forest, I'm fine either way." With that, he followed Zira and the others back towards the Pridelands, his mind filled with thoughts of what he would do if he ever managed to get his paws on Tanga and Marini.

Tanga smiled as Simba said they were going. "That's great, you two! Always knew you two would come to your senses eventually."

But that was all Tanga was able to say, because his exhaustion was starting to get to him, and he was beginning to doze off. He was trying his best to stay awake, but the way he bobbed around on top of Sarabi was strangely soothing, and before he knew it, his eyes were shut and he dozed, his light, growling snores the only indication he wasn't just resting his eyes.

Underneath Tanga, Sarabi just gave both Simba and Nala a warm smile. "I'm happy for you two."

Simba was expecting some teasing from Tanga and Marini, but they didn't do any teasing, maybe because it wasn't a good time for that or maybe because they knew what he and Nala felt like. He smiled back at the three of them as Tanga fell asleep. He must have been really tired of everything that happend to them in the past day. He then looked back at Nala, "That went pretty well." he said and smiled at her

Zira sighed and led the group back towards Pride Rock. Scar would probably blame her for this, after all she was in charge of this mission

Nala sighed happily, leaning her head against Simba's shoulder. "Yeah..." she said, purring. She was going out with Simba, and they hadn't been teased about it. Tanga was wounded, but healing...and he had been going out with Marini for some time. If only we could be back at the Pridelands, Nala thought. Then everything would be perfect...

Scar saw the collection of shapes in the distance which told him that his group was returning. Wasting no time, since it was already far too late in the night, he hopped down from Pride Rock, actually walking out into the patchy, dying grass to meet them.

Coming up to them, he stopped the entire group with a mere look, noting a few nervous faces that told him the outcome before he even had to ask. but that did mean he wouldn't ask...he preferred hearing them admit the news...if they ever had the guts. "Well?" he prompted. "Are they dealt with?"

Simba also purred slightly as Nala lay her head on his shoulder. He nuzzled her slightly, feeling content with how things turned out. The only thing missing here were the Pride Lands. He sighed at the thought of this, if they were there... He couldn't deny that he missed his homelands, but he knew that the time to go back will come eventually.

Zira sighed as Scar came closer, "There was no one there Scar." she said, ready for him to outburst at them, "I don't know..."
"It was Nala." Sarafina said all of a sudden. She felt it would turn better if she told him before he put everything together. "After I scouted there she probably warned them... I should have seen this coming. I deserve any punishment you have for me." She knew she was taking the entire blame on herself by saying that, but she didn't want her friends to get hurt by Scar.

Scar looked at Sarafina in surprise as she interrupted Zira, explaining her oversight, and essentially shouldering all the blame, as well as accepting any punishment that she knew must be due her way.

Even so, he ran a paw through his mane. "This is most unfortunate," he said simply, before turning back to Zira and Sarafina. "Do you have any idea where they went at all?" He decided he would work out their next move first, then hand out punishments as they were due.

Zira nodded her head in a 'no', "No Scar. I don't think they got far though." she then sighed and looked at Sarafina, wondering why did she take all the blame on herself. "We should be more careful by our borders, who knows where they might be."

Scar sighed, nodding, before gesturing for everyone except Zira, Sarafina and Ganya to leave. Once those three were the only ones left, he turned his attention to Ganya first. "Your home is reclaimed, leopard...why do you return here?"

Ganya replied, quickly explaining his skills as a warrior and assassin, and his desire to help Scar's cause, adding in that he would be willing to assist Scar, so long as his forest remained untouched by the hyenas...the leopard could see the damage they were doing to the land around him, and knew that within a year, the Pridelands would be nothing more than an empty, barren wasteland.

Scar thought on this for a moment, before nodding. "Alright, Ganya, I'll accept your offer, you may leave." As Ganya did so, stalking back off to the south, Scar then turned his attention to Zira. "Zira, your comment about our borders is very valid...do you think you could set up a routine border patrol, to keep an eye out for future invaders?"

Zira nodded at Scar. "I suppose they wont be coming from the south" she said and pointed at the south, since they just ran away from there. [b]"We will need patrols on the north, west and east then. Sarafina nodded at this, she knew that when the time came, Simba will return from the eastern border. And if lionesses from Pride Rock were there, he could ask them to quietly tell the other lionesses of his return, or maybe use their help to come up with a plan of over-throwing Scar. But all of that in case the lions on the hillside past the eastern border allowed them to stay. No matter what happend, it would be better if lionesses were the ones doing the patrols.
