I noticed it, but I never really acknowledged it cause I always wanted (and still do) to think that the Lion King is perfect in every way.

Well hand drawn movies like that will always have an error or two but if it didn't...it wouldn't be near as unique

Later in the movie, during the night scenes in the jungle, Adult Simbas eyes are white all the time. Strange.

Yep, I notice eye colors or even shapes change a lot during a lot of Disney's animated movies. It happens quite often, depending on the situation. Sometimes it's a certain choice the animators make, perhaps because it fits better in certain lighting, or whatever the reason is one might come up with.

But I've never seen it happen in the very same shot though

I never knew that. they must of forgot to color and when they watched the movie they must of seen it I have to see if it happens again! I know it happens with Simba once in the movie like people have said but I dont make a big deal about it. I never noticed the mistakes until I became more and more into it!
