"You best be going to sleep ya hear?" Francis said with a grin "We should be getting to the birds tomarrow if were lucky"

Nodding Zill walked over to a spot beside a nearby bush and layed down. Petrie flew onto his head a started to fall asleep, all the while hoping Zill wouldn't mind.

[Fang]

Max padded over to them and layed down next to Zill.
"Night guys!" She said with a flick of her tail.

[Tanabi]

"Night." Zill replied as he start to also drift off to sleep.

[Fang]

Nuka growled as a few humans near him yelled and screemed and ran around.
"What the---"
"Sorry sir, these young kits play here sometimes but they shouldn't be able to see you." Chestar said with a grin. The sun was high in the sky but large rain clouds started to cover the sky like a blanket.
"Smells of rain. I hate rain" Nuka muttered and got up. He shook himself and started to walk.
"Were are you going?" Chester asked running up to him.
"To find Max before that grumpy fur ball she is with gets her in trouble."
Chester was about to object but before he could rain drizzled down and the humans ran for cover.

As the sun disapeared behind the clouds the rain started to fall, it was lucky for Zill and everyone by him that they were under the cover of a tree. But the sound of humans runing for cover had woken Zill up. he stared at the mud puddles and dreaded what he knew would happen, "Why of all things did it have to rain?"

[Fang]

A bolt of lightning made Max jump up half a foot. She stared into the rain and shook.
"I hate lightning..." She mutted moving closer to Zill. The roar of thunder and another clash of lightning split the air in half and made Max quiver. She put her paws on her head and let her ears lie flat.

Zill chuckled,"morning Max. sleep well?"

[Fang]

She didn't answer him, she just quizered. Lightning flashed again and she edged closer to her friends. Fear gripped through her and the fur on her back began to ruffle.

Petrie, who'd also been woken up from the lightning, hopped over to Max. "don't worry Max, lightning won't be able to get us."
