"What? no I don't." Long Ears protested.
Geno was still thinking about their mother. He looked back at his sister and sighed. How exactly was their mother going to protect them? Even if she wa somewhere up in the sky looking at them. He looked back towards Long Ears and Bambi the skunk, "Yeah, let's play something." he suggested, hoping it'll cheer him up a little.
Long Ears looked at Gurri and said, "I don't know... you can kick a dog in the face." he said proudly looking at Geno who still seemed deep in his own thoughts

Gurri looked at Geno and said, "Yeah good job Geno." She looked back toward Long Ears and said, "I mean can you teach me to be brave?" She sighed and came toward the trees and said to Geno, "Come on let's go out further in the forest while Dad isn't looking." She gave him a mischeivious look.

Meanwhile while Bambi was still there another voice came toward him as if reenacting a memory of a first meeting. "Hello Bambi." Miraculously Faline was there and she ran towards Bambi. For some reason she had a human bow around her neck and it looked like she was healed.

Geno just smiled a fake smile back at his sister.
Long Ears looked at Gurri confused, "I don't think I can do that." he said with a slight laugh.
Geno looked at his sister again, still quite concerned about what happend a few minutes ago when they left without letting their dad know about it. "Well, if we stay in the forest, I guess it's allright." he said and waited for her to lead the way.

Bambi was deep in his own thoughts, not noticing the fawns going out of his sight again. He remembered Faline when they were both they're age; she was always smiling and laughing... and alive. He couldn't believe that he was never going to see her again. Suddenly her voice came into his ears, it sounded just like the way she spoke when they met each other again by the small waterhole. Looking up he could actually see her, he was sure that he's dreaming. Having the same expression he had at the time on his face, he walked backwards hesitatly and tripped a rock, still sure that she was in his imagination.

Gurri yelled to Geno, "Well then come on then!" Gurri looked at Long Ears and Bambi and said, "So what have you guys been doing since the last time we met."

Faline smiled and walked up to Bambi and whispered in his ear, "I'm real." Seh told him the story. "After you left those humans in that moving creature took me somewhere and helped me get better. After I did they released me and I have been trying to catch up to you the past 3 days." She looked at Bambi and at that bow on her neck. "Can you get this rediculous thing off of me?"

Geno, Bambi the skunk and Long Ears followed Gurri quickly into the forest. Long Ears answered Gurri's question, "Nothing special... we usually just wandered around the forest. How about you two?"

Bambi's eyes whidened a little as Faline told him she was real. "They helped you get better?" he asked her confused, rolling from his back onto his stomach then getting up, he then bit the bow around her neck untill it came off. "Geno and Gurri think you're dead. Wait till they see you're okay." he said, looking towards where they were a minute ago, but not seeing them.

Gurri looked at Long Ears and said, "We encountered Man three times." She looked dim but changed the subject. "So guys when the meadow is safe again who would you want to meet there?"

Faline said to Bambi, "Yes they helped me." She looked at Bambi again, "Where are Geno and Gurri. They are not here!"

"Sure!" Long Ears said hopping behind her as she lead the way, "Where are we going?"

Bambi was quite surprised, man helped her? Could it be possible that not all man are bad?
"They are playing inside the forest where it's safe." Bambi said, trying to sense where they were. "Come on, this way." he said after a few moments of silence.

Gurri looked at Long Ears and said, "Well...uh Da...the Great Prince said we cannot go there unless he is there with us."

Faline looked at Bambi and siad, "I only hope they listen to stay in the forest. The meadow is extrememly dangerous." She came toward the forest and kept looking for the fawns. "What has happened since I was...gone?"

Long Ears continued talking to Gurri, "That's justified, the meadow is not safe right now. Where are we going instead?"

"We encountered man again a few minutes ago so I know they are around here... but another man scared the dogs away..." Bambi said, still confused, "Could it be the same one that helped you survive?"

Gurri smiled and said, "Ah who cares. I want to see Garo in the meadow anyway. Come on. Let's go." She walked ahead trying to get Geno to come along.

Faline looked at Bambi and said, "I dunno. What did this Man look like?" She followed Bambi to where the fawns were supposed to be. "Bambi no one is here!"
