Bambi RP (Private)

Long Ears knew he had to do something quick. "Hey, you ugly thing!" He shouted at the dog, using his feet to stamp, trying to drag his attention. "Come get me you coward!" He said running and sitting past Bambi, hoping that the dog will go for them instead. WHile the dog was looking at Long Ears who was busy taunting him, Geno quickly motioned to his sister and they both began walking slowly towards Bambi's direction

The dog however only looked away for a second knowing that a fawn had more meat than a tiny rabbit so he came before the fawns again. He growled seeing they were moving toward the skunk seeing as how the stench would be unbearable but considering he was hungry that mattered little to him. He went before the fawns still growling and started to try and get them with his jaws. He tried to bite them just barely missing.

Geno moved back just in time to avoid getting his head ripped off by the dog's sharp teeth. Noticing the dog was still closing in he backed off, but he could see that the dog was quite sure of himself and was probably not expecting any of the fawns to fight back. Taking some momentum, he brought his back legs forward and kicked the dog straight in the eye. Amazed by what he just did and seeing the dog was still busy in being in pain, he nudged his sister again and ran past the dog, taking 'shelter' behind the little skunk

The dog only looked throught the other eye toward Geno and came closer to the skunk. He growled, even more angry than before, He saw the fawns in his one eye he ran forward hitting the cliff wall. Without his eye it seemed he could not see. However before an escape could be made the other dogs returned. Soon though Man came through though this time Man (rangers) called the dogs off. They shooed the fawns, rabbit and skunk away obviously trying to get them out of there before more hunters could return.

Geno looekd at the man that came all of a sudden, but it was another one, he was different from the hunters. He could notice that that man also had a different coloured 'fur' [clothes] compared to the hunters. "That is the same man from yersterday," Geno whispered to his sister, referring to the man's clothes, "he's like those who scared the dogs away yesterday." Geno was completely confused. Maybe not all man were evil, perhaps some of them cared about the forest and its animals. As the man shooed them away he motioned to his sister and friends to go back into the forest with him, before the 'meaner' man came back or more dogs appeared.

Gurri saw the new men as well seeing thet they were trying to help them. "Yes Geno I see what you mean." WHen they returned to the forest Gurri looked at Long Ears and Bambi, "What are you guys doing here?" She looked at the den and noticed her father was waiting for them. How was she going to tell him all that happened. She told Bambi and Long Ears to wait there so that the Great Prince wouldn't be angry. She hoped the Great Prince would let them play. "Uh Great...Dad we thought we heard Mom but it was just one of Man's tricks."

Bambi was just about to ask Gurri where had she and her brother been when she told him about the man encounter. "Are you hurt?" he asked her and Geno, getting a nod of disapproval from Geno he sighed, "Good..."
He then looekd over at Thumper's and Flower's sons. He suddenly remembered he hadn't seen his friends for a really long time.

Gurri looked toward the Great Prince and asked him, "Why do they call you the Great Prince anyway Dad? You are not the oldest buck here?" She also looked at Geno. She whispered to him, "How are you holding up about...Mom. She saw he said nothing and said to Bambi, "Dad uh is it oikay if we go and play?" She awaited his approval.

Bambi looked from Long Ears and Bambi the skunk back to his daughter. "I'm the one who looks after the herd Gurri. I don't know why is that the way everybody calls this. I guess it's a tradition."
Geno was still thinking about their mom and didn't know what exactly to say in response.
Bambi looked at his daughter again, "You can stay here with Long Ears and..." he felt wierd about calling someone else by his name. "and Bambi. Man could still be nearby so stay between the woods. I'll be right here if you need anything"

Bambi looked at Long Ears and said, "Gosh I hope we helped Geno and Gurri enough." He looked toward Long Ears and said, "I think you have a hairball." He laughed and looked toward Geno and Gurri. "Oh are you ready to play?"

Gurri nodded and looked toward her father. "Thank you Daddy." She looked at Geno and said, "We just have to remember Mother is watching us from somewhere and she will protect us." She looked towards the rabbit and the skunk and asked them, "How do you be brave?"
