Bambi RP (Private)

Garo smiled and nodded slightly at Gurri saying goodbye.

Bambi lead the fawns slowly back to the den. He was already in pain, answering Gurri's question wasn't this hard for him at that moment. "Man got her too." he said, looking down at the ground and saying nothing else

Gurri looked at her father and said, "Dad I am so sorry."

Ronno looked at his son Garo and sighed, "We might as well get back as well unless you want to play by yourself?" When he saw his son say nothing he assumed that meant no. "Come on then." He looked back at his son and said, "Your mother is worrying by now."

Bambi still couldn't believe that she was gone. He looked down and his fawns and sighed, "No... I'm sorry."

Garo followed his father without saying anything. When his mother came into view she walked up to them, similing her usual smile and not yet knowing what happend. "Oh, back so soon?" she asked them

Ronno sighed and said, "Yes." He looked at her and said, "Faline is gone. She was killed last night by man."

Gurri looked up at her father and said, "What are you sorry for Daddy?" She looked away and said, "What now?" She couldn't say anything more so she followed her father back to the den. It was there they slept for the night. When she woke up the next morning Bambi was gone. "Geno where is Dad at?!"

Leah looked at Ronno completely shocked. "Oh no... poor little things..." she said thinking how would Geno and Gurri live without their mother. "And her fawns?"

Bambi let out another sigh, "It should have been me... not her." he looekd down at her and Geno again, "Don't worry..." he said, trying to comfort them, "No one will hurt you or your brother."
The next morning Bambi woke up early, he was not used to not seeing Faline while seeing his fawns. He was about to go for a short walk when Geno woke up. "Dad, where are you going?" he asked, hoping he was not going to leave them alone. "I'm not going to far. You get some more sleep, I'll be back soon." he said as Geno went back to sleep. He was then woken up by his sister, "Dad said he'll be back soon."

Ronno looked toward Leah and said, "The fawns are fine as is the Great Prince. It was just the...mother." He looked away still sighing.

Gurri looked at Geno and said, "I wonder what Dad's life was like before becoming the 'Great Prince'? How did he get that title anyway?" She looked toward her brother and said, "Why does that creature, that Man, hate us so much? Did you ask Daddy?" She then heard something. A doe's voice calling them. "I'm here." Gurri looked up saying, "Mother?" The voice returned saying, "Hello! I'm here! It's me!" She looked at Geno and said, "It's Mother!" The sound came toward the meadow. Soon dogs approached and light relflected off a scope from somewhere (a sniper rifle). The dogs growled ferociously knowing that the fawns would be delicious.

Garo was quite concerned about Geno and Gurri being without a mother. "What are they going to do?" he asked looking at his mom and dad who didn't seem to have an answer.

Geno began thinking about what Gurri was confused about. "I don't know, I guess he was like us when he was our age." he sighed and looked around them searching for his father who said that he'll be back. "I didn't ask him about that creature though... maybe we should ask him when he gets back."
Then his mothers voice came out of no where, he looked towards it excited thinking that his mother is alive, but his excited face turned into a terrified one when he saw the dogs approaching. Noticing his sister was completely frozen, he gave her a weak, yet quite hard push to make her notice what was happening, "Run!" he said waiting for her to turn around before running back into the forest.

The dogs soon saw them and broke off running towards the fawns smelling easy prey to kill. Gurri was terrified at how fast these creatures of Man could run. The dogs smiled knowing they were boxed into a canyon. Indeed both Geno and Gurri saw that there was a cliff wall behind them and dogs in front of them. There was no way out! The dogs inched closer smelling the meat these fawns would give them if they ate them. They licked their lips and came closer. However their attention was shaken when they saw a rabbit and a skunk on the scene as well. They saw them and came towards them seeing new meat in their paws. The first dog in the group was about to eat them all.

Ronno looked towards Garo and said, "They will have to live without Faline my son." He looked towards the sky already mssing Faline himself. He looked towards Garo and said, "Just be glad you have your mother."

Geno kept running, making sure that his sister was behind him. The dogs were very fast runners and after a few moments they had him and his sister cornered by a cliff. He noticed some of the dogs walking towards something else. Looking at the direction they were walking to he noticed Long Ears and Bambi the skunk, who just noticed the dogs and were seeming to be having an heart attack. The first dog was coming closer to them, and Geno didn't know what to do.
Long Ears was completely frozen, he nudged Bambi and said to him, "Do something!" he said, covering his nose with his other paw

Bambi looked at Long Ears and sighed knowing he meant his tail. He lifted it up which frightened the other dogs away but one was still left. However the first dog kept inching closer towards them not minding the stench knowing the prize of meat was worth the smell. He growled and was about to leap toward the fawns.
