Bambi RP (Private)

Bambi watched the dogs come closer, bearing his teeth with anger knowing that there was probably nothing he could do. Faline how ever decided to risk it, he came up with an idea and it was probably the only choice. He remembered from earlier expiriences that man had to work his rifle out between shots. He knew Faline would get shot, he hoped that the hunter will miss, but he got himself, waiting for the gun sound in order to charge at the hunter before he could fire again. As the shot rang out he ran, not even waiting to see whether Faline was hit or not, he had no time for that. Running past the dogs and charging directly at the man, who was really working his gun out. He jumped and knocked the man over. Picking up the stick in his mouth he began hitting the tree with it as hard as he could untill it broke.

Man was extremely hurt by the buck charging at him but he got up and took his metal rod around his belt and started to fire at the humongous buck and was about to fire again when an animal with horns, legs that went in circles and a thunderous sound came by (a truck) with more of Man (rangers) inside. The hunter terrified by witnesses called his dogs and ran away. Faline however was still on the ground and could only say to Bambi, "I am sorry Great Prince I failed." She passed out. It was not certain whether this was from unconsciousness or death. Gurri was fighting back tears an d said, "Great...Daddy is Mother going to be okay?!" There was silence through the forest as there was no certainty whether Faline was alive or dead." A dog still reamined behind however and was licking his lips trying to scavenge on Faline's body. WHen it saw Bambi it raised its paws ready to fight over the body to see wether Faline would either remain alive or become a carcass.

Bambi was aobut to hit the hunter again when the truck showed up and the hunter ran away. Bambi walked to Faline right away, seeing that she;d been hit by the hunter's rifle. As she fainted Bambi bent over, trying to wake her up, barely holding back his tears. "I don't no Gurri," he answered his daughter, a hint of sadness in his voice. He tried to sense whether her heart was beating, but he was distracted by the dog the hunter left behind. Rage feeling every part of his body, he used all the strength he had and picked the dog up with his antlers, throwing him away a few meters.
Geno walked over to his mom, a few tears on his cheek. He stood by his mother and nudged her with his nose, wanting her to wake up.
Bambi was about to break into crying, his own fawns might have to go through the same experience he had with his own mothers, he couldn't let it happen.

Faline showed no sign of life. Gurri could not believe what had just happened. She laid down by her mother's chest saying, "Please don't leave me Mom." Gurri looked at her father and said, "Dad what if...Mother doesn't wake up? What then?" She fought back tears and looked up at the Great Prince. She felt emptiness in her own little corner of the world and looked up at her father. "Daddy wherever you want us to go we will do it." From the place where they were rangers used deer sounds as well but this time to help the buck and the two fawns mirroring his own mother's final words. "Run! Don't look back! Keep running!" Night soon turned into day and there was no sign of Faline after they returned.

Ronno looked toward Leah awoken from the restless hours of sleep. He woke Garo as well and called to them. "Come on son follow your mother and I back to the meadow." He came back to the meadow of course not expecting anyone except Faline adn her fawns. He especially did not expect ot see 'Bamboy' and his kids there. He gave a glare to him and said, "Get out of my way 'Great Princey'.

The morning they returned and there was no sign of Faline, Bambi began hoping that maybe she woke up and went searching for them. But as much as he hoped that was true he also knew that was most likely impossible. And what about his fawns? They were probably going to grow up without their mother like he did. The memory of his mother's death came up to him again. What was he going to do now?
He decided that at least for now he can take Geno and Gurri so they could play. This time he didn't let them out of his sight. Whether Faline was dead or alive, she was probably relying on him to look after their fawns. When Ronna came into view, Bambi payed no attention at first and continued keeping an eye on Gurri and Geno. When Ronna began with his taunting again he didn't move, Ronno wasn't even about to walk through where he was standing. He never understood whether Ronno was jsut having fun picking on him or whether he had some serious issues. He ignored Ronno's comment about his name, he was already used to it. Besides his mind was already filled with worries and thoughts of Faline and whether she was okay.
Garo looked at his dad who was teasing Bambi again, unlike his dad he did notice Bambi's sad exoression and understood that it wasn't because of his father. Something was wrong.

Gurri came up to Garo teary-eyed and sighed saying, "I guess we better play." She pointed to a place in the meadow away from their fathers. She looked at him and for some reason felt she could tell him. She started sobbing and said, "My mother is gone. Man got her." She looked at him and said, "On second thought I don't even want to do anything right now." She saw some tension happening between their parents and asked, "So why does your father hate the Great Prince so much?"

Ronno enjoyed picking on Bambi so he did it some more. Not knowing what happened to Faline and assuming she stayed behind at the den he looked at Bambi and said, "Do you know what I was going to do to Faline when I tried to take her away?!" He looked at him and said, "I will tell you what I said when we were fawns Bamboy: Your father was embarassed by you." He looked at him still noticing he did nothing and glared knowing that his comments did not make Bambi respond. He took a different approach and Ronno knocked him over with his bigger antlers. "I suggest you respond to someone when they are talking to you 'Great Prince.' I said did you know what I was going to do?!" He looked with anger remembering again all that Bambi did to him and suddenly wanted to bash him.

Garo looked at Gurri, noticing that what happened to Bambi also had an effect on her and her brother. As she told him about her mother Garo felt sad for her and her brother. And Bambi. Walking a little closer to her he wanted to try and comfort her when she pointed at where their fathers were. "He thinks he should be the prince." he said with a hint of disrespect to what he just said in his tone.

Bambi could no longer control his anger. He got up to his feet, scolding at Ronno, "What does it matter?!" he began shouting, letting all his anger out, noticing Ronno was a little surprised by the anger he displayed in his tone. "Do you think I care?!" Garo noticed this and felt angry at his father. Why was he acting like this way all the time? " I don't care about you, I don't care about what you say, and I don't care what you do and what you did!" Bambi said, feeling like going insane and killing somebody, "It doesn't matter! She's gone!" he then stopped shouting, realising he just yelled it out aloud.

Ronno smiled knowing he finally got Bambi to be angry but Ronno let his mean side rest for a minute. "What do you mean she? Who is gone?" When he figured out he meant Faline he said, "NO! What happened?!" Even though he hated Bambi he always had a crush on Faline and the only real anger towards her was because she picked Bambi instead of him. He put his head down and said in his first time of being sympathetic to Bambi, "Bambi I am so sorry." He kept looking down uncertain of what else to say. He looked at his son and sighed noticing his son looked angry at him.

Gurri looked surprised. "Why would he want to be the Great Prince? All the position is from what I heard is watching the whole herd all day." She looked toward the Great...her father and saw him lash out. She was a little shocked and decided to make him feel better. She came up to him and rubbed up against him saying, "We promise dad we will never leave you!"

Bambi was quite amazed, did Ronno just apologize? That was something new to him. "Man came... at night..." he said, his tone no longer angry. He looked down at Gurri and smiled at her. "I'm here." he said bending over and nuzzling his daughter. Turning around to Geno, who seemed busy in missing their mother already, he sighed and said, "Come on Geno, let's go home."

Gurri looked around at Garo and said smiling, "I hope to see you later Garo." She giggled and went back to her father. She still remembred her mother being there for her always and now knew the roles would be reversed. On their way home Gurri not knowing what happened to Bambi's mother asked him, "Daddy where is your mother?" She did not know of the pain she was about to ensue from that question.
