Garo listened to the story carefully. His feelings were right, his father was lying, he was the one being the bully. He wasn't really surprised by the story he just heard, but he couldn't help but ask him something that was bothering him. "But... a few minutes ago... when we were at the meadow... why did you talk about his mother that way?" he asked, a hint of sadness in his voice, "he was just trying to help..."
Geno looked up at his father. "Uh... hi... dad." he said as his father looked down at him, "Ummm... What are you doing?"
His father threw a slight smile before answering, "I'm observing." he said, getting a confused look from Geno, "It might be hard for you to understand, but as the prince I have alot of responsibilities."
"Like what?" Geno asked, sounding interested.
"It's my job to look after the herd, to make sure everybody gets along with everybody else, and to make sure everyone is safe." he paused and took a short breath, "Do you remember what happend back at the meadow?" he asked getting a nod from Geno, "I have to make sure no one gets hurt or killed, even if it means putting my own life at risk."
"Wow." Geno said amazed, "but why haven't we ever seen you before?" he asked as his father looked away again
