"Let's play hide and seek." Garo suggested getting an excited nod from Geno

"Yeah, I remember." she said laughing slightly

Gurri nodded and said to Garo as she touched him with her hoof, "You're it."

Ronno looked at her again and said, "Uh I have something to tell you."

Garo couldn't wait to start playing, "Okay. you have 30 seconds, the first one I find will seek next." he said as he lay down and covered his face with his legs and began counting.

"What is it?" Leah asked Ronno, lookingi nto his eyes

Ronno sighed and said, "Those fawns of Bambi, do you know who their mother is?"

Gurri ran and hid into a group of fawns trying to disguise herself. Marena meanwhile tried to hide behind a rock. Both hoped they looked gone by the time Garo opened his eyes.

Noticing that his sister has already took cover, he went over to an area with higher grass and lay down there.

"I never met her. But I think her name is Faline." Leah answered

Standing on a distant rock, where he could see the entire meadow, Bambi scanned the horizon. There were alot of smoke lines coming from behind the hills. Men, there were more and more of them by every day passing. Even though no one has encountered men for a long time, he was always alerted, mostly exploring by the area of the meadow. He stood there and observed everything, he could see groups of fawns playing and deers talking as they kept an eye on their fawns. It's been a while since he had seen Faline and their fawns. He was making sure everything was fine most of his time. But as time passed Bambi couldn't helped but wonder how were Faline and the fawns doing.

Ronno looked at her and gulped. "I have been lying to you the whole time. I was the bully trying to humiliate Bambi and it backfired on me. I also uh...tried to make Faline go with me as a fawn and adult but Bambi stopped me. I am...bad you see. I can only ask your forgiveness for lying to you and doing those horrible...things." He looked at her knowing she would not see him the same way ever anymore. He sighed and looked down.

Faline looked toward the horizon herself wondering if Bambi would reunite with his fawns like all the fathers did very year. She knew he had to watch over the whole herd but she still knew that those were HIS children.

From where Geno was a decoy was in place where hunters could get deer. The doe decoy stood there attracting doe, fawn, and buck deer alike so that a hunter may squeeze the trigger on one.

Leah looked at Ronno surprised, but she felt like he was feeling bad about the whole thing anyways. "Look, promise me you'll put it behind?" she said walking closer to him, "and change your attitude towards Garo. Please, for me."

Bambi decided to go find Faline and their fawns. Even if that meant abandoning his position for a while, he had to see them, at least like all males did with their fawns at this time of the year. He walked down from the rock he was standing at and began exploring the meadow, looking for Faline or his fawns, expecting her and the fawns to be in different locations.

Garo finished counting ito 30 and rose back to his feet, beginning to scan his sorroundings trying to find any of his friends

Ronno looked at her a little relieved she was still talking to him. "I...promise." He said to her, "I just want...Garo to survive in this hostile world and to do that I must be hard on him right?" He looked at her wanting her advice for once.

From where Geno was the doe decoy started emulating a doe call from the hunters nearby trying to catch any deer they might find around there.

Faline looked out and saw the to the amazement of her eyes she saw the biggest stag there besides Ronno of course. She remained quiet however knowing that Bambi wanted to act very regal in front of the herd. She waited for him to come over. She knew however that she had not heard from her fawns in a while. She saw Gurri over by the group of fawns but where was Geno?

"Try teaching him, but without being rude on him or making him rude towards others." Leah suggested

Geno could hear the decoy, how ever he remained where he was because he was hiding in a game of hide and seek. Garo on the other hand was the one searching for the others. Hearing the doe sound produced by the decoy he began walking slowly towards it, thinking it might be Gurri or Marena hiding behind some doe.

Bambi kept searching for his fawns and mate, taking his time and walking slow, while scanning his sorroundings for anything suspicious or dangerous. Spotting Gurri by the group of fawns he decided to walk over and check on her, but he couldn't see Geno. That was when his ears picked up the sound of the deer decoy. He recognised it and knew danger was closed, he encountered that once as a fawn, after his mother died. How ever before alerting all the deers around him, he went over to make sure no one was about to fall into the trap.

Ronno said to her, "I promise to do that." He soon looked around at the forest noticing its silence and knew only one creature caused the forest to still. He told Leah, "Come on! Hurry our son is in trouble! Man is near!" He yelled to his mate knowing that there was no time to explain.

The hunters saw fawn approach and knew that by fawn approaching that a doe or buck would be close behind. Soon crows started flying away enough to block the sun yelling, "Man!" In the confusion of the animals racing away it would be very dufficult to find someone. Gurri sprinted after her mother after hearing that sound but Geno was nowhere in site and neither was Garo both near the hunters and not near enough to have heard the warning. Faline looked at Gurri wide-eyed saying, "Where is Geno?" Gurri said nothing and stayed still. There was no sign and all Gurri could do was point out where man was.
