For the "Foreign" contest on TLKFAA.
This is something I once saw on National Geographic. When food gets scarce and living space dwindles due to human overpopulation and poaching, lions in desperation turn to more easy prey: livestock. However this makes the African farmers very angry, and any lioness caught harassing their cattle or sheep is instantly killed. Unfortunately, violent conflicts between humans and lions are growing more and more frequent, causing the felines' numbers to plummet. Depicted here is a particularly gory scene from one of these encounters.
By the way, this is my first time entering the TLKFAA archive-wide contest! I know I have no hope of winning but hopefully I can make it to the top ten!
