Kopa seemed to have a one track mind as ever since he had laid eyes upon the savory looking antelope carcass in front of him, all he could focus upon was filling his belly with the tasty meal in front of him. Barely even acknowledging Shani’s arrival at the proverbial dinner table as he was too wrapped up in his own affairs, Kopa repeatedly bit into the tender portion of the antelope he had claimed for himself, his sharp little teeth ripping off sizable pieces of the deceased creature’s flesh while his tiny paws rested against the antelope’s haunch, providing some much needed support while the youngster ate. With each mouth full of the succulent meat tasting better than the last, Kopa rapidly satisfied his hunger and was just beginning to feel the first signs of fullness starting to settle in his stomach, when Tanga’s voice drifted into earshot, prompting the young male to withdraw his crimson stained muzzle from his dinner, his ears twitching to pick up upon what was being said. Licking over his gory looking face while pondering whether or not to go introduce himself to the new cub who Tanga had apparently had broken new ground with, Kopa glanced over at Marini to see what she might do, before he would make his own decision, even though he had a sneaking suspicion that the golden furred cub would have no qualms with meeting a new face, as her typically outgoing nature was already solidified within Kopa’s memory banks.
Figuring that there was no harm in yet another introduction for the day, especially seeing as this was a cub, and there for, a lot less intimidating for Kopa himself, the young male casually rose to all fours, his little belly drooping slightly from just how much meet he had previously consumed. Walking at a slow pace, Kopa made his way over to Tanga’s side, keeping himself within close range to the large lion, just to ensure his own safety. Taking his first timid glances at the new arrival, Kopa’s curious eyes scanned his company from head to tail, noting his green eyes and mixed colored pelt. Instantly coming to the conclusion that this young male was anything but a threat to his own well-being, Kopa’s confidence level shifted as he took a few steps forward, approaching the newcomer with a friendly looking smile plastered upon his muzzle. Speaking up in as welcoming of a tone as he could perpetuate, Kopa addressed the green eyed cub as he halted a few feet in front of him now.
”Hey there. My name’s Kopa. It’s nice to meet you …” Kopa stated, pausing as the last words left his muzzle, expecting the cub in front of him to fill in the missing details of his name so he could at least know what to call him by.
