The "relationship" between Kiara and Timon&Pumbaa

She wan'ts to have fun and they keep following her dispite her father saying she can do it alone.

So she sort of takes it out on them at the time.

She then has fun with them casing the birds witch shows they can be good friends if there not going behind her back.

then theres that about Zazu he was always with Simba and Nala and they sort of picked on him, and then simba made timons and pumba do the same with them but with Kiara so its bound she will have a simmiler reaction to them.

I think Kiara is annoyed with Timon and Pumbaa most of the time because they are spying on her and following her around. Timon and Pumbaa’s prescense is for Kiara a sign that Simba doesn’t trust her to go off alone, and that he won’t give her a real chance to show him that she can take care of herself.

And.. no offense to T&P fans, but I personally found them annoying in SP, as opposed to TLK. In TLK they were true comic relief characters, and their relationship to Simba was a caring, protective one. In SP, I feel they’re just annoying and a burden to Kiara.. T&P acted like parents/buddies to Cub Simba, but for Cub Kiara they’re just annoying babysitters and spies who won’t leave her alone.

probably because Timon and Pumba were telling not to do this and that and while with Simba they had an no-work-all-play time

Agreeing with what KM originally said. It really isn't the relationship between T&P and Kiara that's different in SP, it's their role in her life that's different. While to Simba, they were best friends and mentors in the ways of "Hakuna Matata", to Kiara they were nothing more than babysitters (literally, in Pumbaa's case).

You can't really expect Kiara to get along with them when all they do is hound her about not going off on her own and limiting herself to boredom to appease her father. It's entirely possible that she even does find their antics funny, same as her father, but her prejudice against T&P's overall "kill-joy" attitude towards her keeps her from finding anything but irritation in it. It's something that I see happening in real life all the time. Personal bias can have a huge impact on the way you respond to other people's actions.

Of course they're a burden to Kiara. Simba makes them follow her everywhere she goes even after she's become a young adult. She still seems to like them despite that though.
