Kiara laughed slightly, "But this time I made it out without your help." she said nuzzling Kovu again and following him back to the den

Zira approached Simba as she was instructed to. She hated having orders barked at her by anyone other then Scar, but she had to comply. She just had to. She stood in front of Simba, waiting to hear what he had to say. She had no true expression, giving off the vibe that her fighting spirit had dimmed do so much that she barely cared enough to stand. [Sorry the post is so small. I need more to work with]

"Now Nala, can we hold the hostalities for a while?" Simba said jokily, he then gave her a quick wink. Simba spoke as he turned to look at Zira. "Now Zira, if you are going to be part of our pride, you have to work" Simba said as a matter of fact. "However, how would you like to be Nala's second in command out on the hunts? Simba asked her. He soemhiw thought Nala would protest, yet she could be 'persuaded' later.

"Ohh, and Zira..." Simba said after he finished, "...Where do you want to sleep?" Simba asked, knowing soemhiw arrangements would have to be made, now he effectivally had two prides to command.

"I trust my son to make the right desicions." Sarabi answered simply, smiling at her friend, "besides it doesn't really matter..."

When Kiara and Kovu arrived at Pride Rock, Kovu looked back to sight his mother. He only saw that she was still behind and patiently waited at the bottom of Pride Rock while Kiara walked ahead. When Sarabi walked past Kovu she gave him a smile. Clearing his throat, Kovu spoke, "So, you know my mother?"

Nala didn't knew whether to protest the commanding position Simba just gave Zira, but she knew what to do when she expects the unexpected. "Zira, you and I both know that you still haven't let go your hate towards Simba." Zira, looked at Nala with a plain face and turned away to follow Simba behind. Nala walked behind here, curiously.

"Yes, I know her." Sarabi answered politely. She never really got to get to know Kovu or actually talk to him. "She's not the kindest lioness to be next to, but who knows..." She paused to breath "maybes he can change"

After hearing the statement Sarabi just made, Kovu was waiting for more, but then spoke, looking down, "Yeah. Change is good, but her heart is filled with hate for Simba, just as Scar's." Sarabi looked at Kovu as she had pride in him.

"You're not like him..." Sarabi said, her mind remembering Scar. "Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. The scar is just a mark, it has nothing to do with who you really are. She said giving a slight smile, and walking towards the den

Astonished by what Sarabi has stated, he was accepted by a long time friend of Scar's, Sarabi. He felt accepted and proud from what lioness has said to him. Kiara walked over at a ledge above Kovu and stared at him from on top of Pride Rock. Kovu looked down as soon as he saw Simba walked up to him. "Is my mother ok?"

Vitani saw Kovu move away from Kiara and talk to Sarabi. Whatever she was saying was obviously touching him as he looked elated. She watched as he moved away from her and talk to Simba. She heard her mother mentioned and so moved toards them. "Your majesty." She bobbed awkwardly. "Since my mother has failed in her plot, what's going to happen to her? You won't exile us again?" She was very anxious. She had hated the outlands and she knew Kovu had too. Glancing at him, she saw he looked anxious too.
