That's actually a really good point, one that I should have realised

We know so little of Mufasa's history, that it is highly likely that he's had to face his own troubles. The constant irritation the hyenas present is an obvious one, and I'm sure there have been various other problems. Yet Mufasa appears to have handled everything really well.

I guess, on the flipside, is that, with Simba's mistake throughout the movies, he would most likely learn from them later on, and become a better king for it.

I still believe Mufasa was better, but without the COMPLETE history of both of them, we'll never know the full story.

i think Mufasa because he had lessons and had many things to deal with yet kept his cool while Simba, just relied on memorys and beating scar in other words he flies on "A wing and a prayer"

Oh Mufasa definitely. He was always my hero of sorts. Simba was a good king, but he wasn't as worldly as dear ol Muffy. Not gonna lie...my first ever AOL screen name was Mufasa397. XD
