"I like Jata," Kovu said a little surprised of the question, "Where are you going with this?" Kovu asked a little offended

"I see..." Simba said furrowing his eyebrows and looking at his paws. "I worry about Kiara, she's all I have as an heir," he continued, "I can tell that she loves you dearly, but if you don't feel the same you need to let her know and leave. I can't have you around giving her hope and seeing her get hurt. She needs to find a suitable male to be her mate and run the kingdom with her when I'm gone. Apparently, that won't be you."

Kovu looked down and sighed slightly. "I already told her..." he said looking up at Simba who was waiting for the rest. "She didn't take it very well... now she acts like I never told her that at all... What should I do about that?"

"Be hard on her," he said, "then you're going to have to leave, but I might suggest you do it at the end of the week so you can take Jata with you."
