1. In LK2 when Simba is thinking about whether to allow Kovu into the pride after he saves Kirara, he paces back and forth.

I don't remember him pacing. ^^ I think he was just sitting atop the hill overlooking Kovu and Kiara. He did speak with The Great Kings Of The Past during both scenes you mentioned though, so I guess that still works. ^^

The part where he's on top of the hill is later in the movie. I mean the part immediately after Kovu saves Kiara. The part where after she recognizes him the rest of the pride rushes in.
Simba paces back and forth after Kovu says, "...or am I to be blamed for a crime I didn't commit."
