@SilverSimba01: Adeola watched as Kamy drank from her mother. Luckily, Zuri still had the sweet milk like when she was a cub. It was a good thing she still had some or she would have either had a starving cub, or a long journey ahead to find another animal that would give up its milk for a lion cub.

@VitanisMate: "Good, because we like you too" Malaika replied.

When the cub ran towards the den once more, Malaika laughed and ran after her. "You wish!" She yelled back, catching up to the kid and giving chase.

"Thank you...?". She looked from the ground to him and then the sky ahead of her. "And no" she replied. The world doesn't want to talk about you every second of the day, you twit, she thought.

When he addressed her as 'queen' she stopped dead in her tracks. Her teeth were showing off her obvious dissaproval, "don't call me that" she growled, walking past him and to the den. She never liked it when she was addressed as that. When she was a cub, she was teased about it and no one ever liked her because of it.

Mzuri kept on racing to the den not tiring one bit.

"Hey Malaika," she said still running, "why wouldn't you let me play with the male lion who came toward you. I have never played with a lion before?"

"Well as you wish." He walked ahead looking for the perfect place. He saw some falls about 500 feet upwind. Alright queeny come here into my trap. You are here to fall to prey under my battlements and I will be feuled with utter cruelty.

"Adeola," calling her by her name for the first time, "look at that waterfall ahead. I wish to get a drink but first I wish to look upon this amazing view." He stepped forward to the ledge above the waterfall and looked down. "Wow is that Mzuri right there?! Mzuri what are you doing here?" He waited for Adeola to walk into his trap by looking over the side. This is just too easy.

Kamy was full, she just stood up, an walk over Adeola and the only thing that Kamy did is just nuzzle Adeola and start to purr, purr like if she was happy.

@SilverSimba01: Zuri got up and watched her daughter interact with the little cub. She smiled to see the cub rub up against her daughter and purr. "Well aren't you just a natural mother" the dark lioness complimented her daughter.

Adeola looked from her mother to Kamy, and placed her paw on the child's head, and pulling her close to her warm pelt. She could feel the vibrations of her neck as she purred. "I don't know" she shrugged, smiling down at the cub.

@VitanisMate: Malaika caught up to the cub and looked down at the girl, "Adeola told me to watch you. And when you're asked by Adeola to do something, you should probably do it. And she said for me to watch you, and watch you is what I am going to do". She raced with the child for a little while longer until the den was in sight.

"Hmm?" She asked, turning her head to look back at the male. When she was told that he wanted to go to the waterfall, she scoffed and kept walking. "You're a big boy; you can get it yourself" she turned her head with a smirk and her a sarcastic tone, "if you can get there without crying to someone". She walked off, leaving him behind to come back when he was ready.

As she looked forward, her hazel orbs landed onto the figures of a small cub and her younger sister. "Malaika, Mzuri" she called out, quickening her pace up to catch them. When she finally reached them, she smiled softly, Malaika smiling at her sister and giving her a rub on the head with her own head.

Mzuri saw Adeola and immediately ran up and hugged her. "I missed you so much Mo...I mean Adeola." She looked and said, "Malaika and I have been having so much fun except with a little accident down by the river. What have you been doing?" She looked over at the male lion and backed up a bit giving him some room from their last encounter.

Kujasuri went over by them and said, "Well, well, well what a nice family reunion. The only thing missing is a daddy." He started to laugh. Perhaps I can lure the cub over there by the waterfall. I was going to make Malaika the first one to go but the cub will do as well. Adeola will be last to experience the pain for all the grief she has caused me which is nothing compared to what I will do to her.

He looked at Mzuri and said, "Hey cubby perhaps you would like to go play hmm?" Mzuri looked up excited and asked Adeola, "Oh can I? Can I go play?! I really want to! Can I?!" This should be easy as picking wings off a fly, Kujasuri thought. "Well come on cub I have the perfect place to show you! It is just a great place!"

@VitanisMate: "What' incident'?" She questioned, looking up at Malaika. "What happened?" She looked down at Mzuri and rephrased her question, "what happened?"

Before she got her answer, she looked back to see the male. That look in his eyes got her feeling uneasy once more, and she walked closer to Mzuri, holding her closer to her leg. "You know, I would but--" Malaika could sense her uneasy feelings towards Kujasuri's offer.

"BUT, Mzuri has a bed time". Adeola looked at her kid sister and then realized she was covering for her.

"That's right. So, maybe next time". Adeola looked down at the cub, "c'mon, Mzuri. Time for bed".

"Yeah you can play with the...," Malaika looked at Kujasuri, "...the...uh...you can play with him later".

"Yeah". Good sister-sister teamwork.

Mzuri looked at Adeola confused. "Bed it is the afternoon! I want to play. My old family did not care when I went to bed so can I?!"

"Well cubby come on then I want to show you an area of the savannah that would be a great place to race at. The way the place looks makes it look like a wide open place and if you get thirsty a river is nearby and it is in fact the best place to be during the summer months."

Yeah it is the best place for me to be right now so I can get rid of all of you one by one slowly.

"Oh wow, that sounds really fun! I cannot wait to go there and run and play and stuff like that.

"Alright Adeola I am going with him okay? I mean it is still the afternoon why do I have to go to bed?"

She started heading with the lion toward the den door.

"How old are you Malaika?" Naki asked her looking at her brother studdying his features.

@Nakisisa: Malaika grinned and batted her eyelashes. Surely, Naki must have been asking her because he wanted to know if she was old enough for her to get away with being his mate. Neobi watched the whole thing, but figured his sister would probably want some privacy, so he turned foot to leave her with him. He didn't seem like someone who would attack her while Neobi was still around close. And to remain close, he curled up near the den and listened.

"I'm almost an adult!" She said in a matter-of-fact tone, and she was proud of it. She couldn't have been far behind the running for any other female for his mate, so she was proud to be the one who was being asked straight on and she was ready for his proposal coming up next.

@VitanisMate: Adeola still didn't feel right, but she had no real reason as to why she couldn't play with Kujasuri without her reason being said aloud that he was a creep and she didn't like his aura.

"You know, I would really like to come see too. I'll come with the both of you" Malaika added in, much to Adeola's relief. Thank goodness that the younger sister could read her older sister like a book and tell what was going on inside her brain at the most crucial times. "So, let's go" she said, walking along side Mzuri.

Adeola watched them walk off, but her soft expression was taken over by a suspicious glare, looking straight at Kujasuri's back. He's not staying with Mzuri alone as long as I'm alive. Malaika's a good guard, but she's nothing compared to what I'll do to him if he puts a single paw on her, she thought, finding another direction to lead them to think that she was going in away from them, when she was just reverting back to stalking-mode.
