[PRIVATE] Taming the Lioness's Heart

@Nakisisa: Adeola looked over to the male to see him walk away and then look back to her father. He kept his eyes on the male and growled, but he was stopped by his mate rubbing herself on his neck. Zuri didn't like it when her mate was like this with other males, so she always rubbed herself with him to make sure he knew that she wanted him to top. And he did just what he did every other time and withdrew his fighting growl, and turned foot.

As he turned his body, his head looked down at Adeola who was giving him a dirty look. "Adeola--"

"Leave me alone" she snapped at him to cut him off, and cantered away from the family to the other direction and back to the Pridelands. She knew her pride was going to be alright and they would get out fine as long as they had Tendai and Neobi. The young lioness made her way across the grass, attracting eyes to her beat up body as she did, and back to the den. She knew she was going to be in big trouble since she had cut her father off and ran away to let him know she didn't want to have anything to do with him. Like always.

Her tongue ran through her fur on the wounds on her stomach, and then she twitched her ears. "Hmm, a hero usually gives his name when he leaves the girl". She smirked and looked at the opening to the den. "I'm sure I'll see you around soon, mystery man".

Hearing the commotion behind Him, naki carried on walking, at a slower pave and thankfull the male had let him pass, he did however turn to see Adeola run away, "God I hate rouge values" he said to himself as he turned and took a longer route to were adeola had ran off, soon he found himself watching Adeola by a cave, he watched as he spoke to hrself, only picking up on the last sentence I'm sure I'll see you around soon, mystery man.
Naki chuckled quietly, "Im sure you will!" he said aloud at about the same volume as his laugh. Now he waited, out of view from any passing eyes.

"Adeola" a voiced pierced through the dark of the den. She had already started to doze off, her neck arched while her tail wrapped around her body and her paws crossed over the other. Once the voice had hit her ears, she perked her head up and looked over to her creamy brother. "Dad wants to speak with you".

She knew what was coming. "Alright" she sighed out. As she rose to her feet, her stomach wound stung a little but she ignored it and walked back out until the sun blanketed her entire coat to make it shine. When she emerged, she saw Neobi and Afolabi walk off to leave her and her parents. Malaika had a guilty look on her face, and Adeola noticed but she strode by without any heed to her little sister. She sat down in front of her mother and father, "yes?"

"You were in the Outlands today". Way to state the obvious, Tendai. Adeola held back a snort and an eye roll, knowing full well that it would do nothing to help her current situation with her parents and her breaking the rules. Even though breaking the rules was to save her sister's behind, but she wasn't going to rat out her sister now. Too late, and no use. "You know it's against the rules".

"Sorry". She mumbled it-- she didn't growl; she didn't hiss; she didn't scream. She put as simply as she could though she felt nothing towards the empty 'sorry'.

"You have said that too many times". Tendai was serious, and he knew his daughter was probably faking the apology. Every time she said it, she would just turn around and break the rules once more, it seemed to her father. "You could have been killed if that male wasn't there to save you--"

"I'm not a baby!" She shot back, shocking both her and mother and father that she raised her voice. "I can take care of myself. That male was wasting his time with me" she told them off. She sighed out, and composed herself once more, looking them in the eyes.

"Adeola, please listen to your father--" Zuri attempted to coax her eldest daughter down, putting a hand on her shoulder. Adeola shrugged it away and closed her eyes tightly.

"You always take his side" she whispered before running off. Past Malaika, past her brothers, she ran to the open fields behind Pride Rock and settled down on a rock that was perfect for tanning. She knew she put herself in danger a lot of the time, but the reason she did it was because she was saving her sister's behind most of the time. The other times, she didn't think about the consequences, and she wanted to prove to her mother and father that she could handle any situation like they could. After all, if they expected her to be leader of their pride one day, Tendai and Zuri had to have known she was fully capable of handling any problem that came their way, and if there was one she would find a way out. Just like her dad. But he, of course, never gave her the chance to prove herself and instead decided to make it all about how she was reckless and she didn't know how to control herself in any dilemma.

Grunge sighed and decided it was in everyone's best interest that the other lioness be found. If one were caught, they might reveal his position. He also felt something of an obligation to fulfill Adeola's wishes. So, he sniffed around and tried to find the other lioness, quietly calling her name worriedly.

@SnowyCheetah: Adeola stepped through the muddy centers of the ground, now knowing where the brown, disgusting looking water was coming from. She grimaced, but kept on looking for her little sister. Whom she was going to probably strangle Malaika by the time she found her again.

She took a quick look from the gray abyss ahead and beyond her for miles to peer down at her feet. Her brown toes were covered with a darker substance of brown, mud. He ears picked up the high pitched screams of her almost-adult sister, as she sprinted forward to go and see what she was crying about.

When she got there, in front of her was a circle of lionesses around her little sister. "Malaika!" Adeola called out as she jumped down to her sister's aid. Standing over her sister, she unshiethed her claws and fangs, crouching down into an attack position towards the hungry creatures.

see that Adeola just make the move, Kamy try to catch her, "Hahaha, you think that you are very fast then me, I will catch you" runs to catch Adeola, then she decide to take a shortcut to try to catch her "now I will catch you", that short cut led her to the top of a rock, and she just wait for Adeola to pass by

@SilverSimba01: Adeola finally took her chance to take a breath when she saw that Kamy was no where near her. The lioness breathed in and out slowly, before she took off once more and looked around. She had a feeling that the cub was up to something. 'Up' being the appropriate word.

She smiled and sat down, looking up at a rock seeing a black and white tail going back and forth. Quietly, she trotted to the free flowing tail and nipped it lightly without her teeth. She laughed and sped off once more. Adeola had to admit, she was a clever kid, that Kamy.

Growling fiercely, Grunge appeared almost out of nowhere, knocking down three lionesses in a single leap and dispatching them with efficient bites to their necks. As he fought with the rest, his black hoodie getting ripped with each slash from the other lionesses' claws, he looked over his shoulder at Adeola and her sister and yelled Run, damnit!

@SnowyCheetah: Adeola pushed her sister in the rear and looked her in the eyes, "go home, now!" She ordered. Malaika knew better than to fight with her sister when she was this serious, so she made like a cheetah and ran as fast as she could. Away from the Outlands. That left just Adeola and the stranger lion.

Though Adeola was not at 'his side' for the fight, she was there with him and helping him take them all down. When the final one was defeated, she sat down and let out a breath, resting her body. Never before had she had to fight like that with females to keep her life, or that of another lion. The lioness didn't turn her head to the male at all, and she just kept coaxing her her heart rate down.

Grunge breathed heavily as the last lion fell to the ground dead. He growled lightly, a look of intense rage on his face. Then he turned to the lioness, who was trying to calm herself. Having something of an attraction to her, he put on a weak smile and walked up next to her. You... did pretty good, there. he said encouragingly. but we've got to move. There'll be more coming before we know it. he said, almost placing his paw on Adeola's, but stopping himself, not wanting to offend her or scare her off.
