Kiara didn't hear the voice behind her, but kovus scent was growing stronger, and she ran towards it, not realising it was straight towards the outlanders den.

"HUSH you idiot" Zira yelled at her son.
"This scent reminds me of Simba... that sneaky bastard!" She murmered to her self. "How ever Simba would never come here by himself... I only smell one lion up ahead."
After a moment Vitani showed up. Mother I smell it. Do you?
There was silence for a few moments.
"Yes... a fimalliar scent by the way.
"Let's track it down, but you! don't do anything unless I tell you, stay out of sight." Zira glared at her son and nodded Vitani to come as she began sprinting towards the source of the smell.

"Yes mother" Nuka said following his mother at her flank hidden in the shadows

"KOVU!" Kiara screamed the scent overwhelming her, forgetting where she was.

"KIARA NO!" Nala screamed at her trying to close in the distance between them. There is no way Kiara could not have heard her.

Vitani ran alongside her mother when she heard the shout. "Mother did you hear that? The little princess must be here! We should get her and use her as bait for Simba!" She chuckled softly at her idea.

Kovu! Zira heard Kiara's voice from the distance.
"Hide." she ordered Vitani and Nuka.
She is here looking for kovu? where did he get to? When I put my hands on that little...

"No. remember that we're out numbered. The pridelanders are more then us and are healthy. Because they have food and water..." She said angrily.
"Let her leave telling her Kovu ran away. It will make his story more believable. I bet they sent a searching party after her. We don't need any trouble with them.

"MOTHER!" Kiara screamed surprised, "what are you doing here?" she said slightly innocently, as a cub would

"Yes Mother" as nuka ran into the shelter of a cave, guesting for his mother and Vitani to follow

"Vitani, go back into the cave. It will look less threatening if I'll come by myself. This is our lands, they will not attack me." She said and began walking towards Kiara's voice.

Nala reached her and catching her breath she gave her a stern look. "Your father sent us, now before you say anything, he was not spying on you. Zazu saw you on his morning rounds and told him. You disobeyed Kiara, we need to get out of here, the Outlanders might be close by..."
