"I was supposed to be queen of a pride"
There was silent for a moment.
"What do you mean when you say supposed?" After a second he realised he shouldn't have asked that.
"Look. You are who you are whether you're queen or king of a pride. I see you the same way I did before you told me that."
He reached Jata's head with his paw so he could look at her.
"There's no need to be depressed. Things can always get better then they are."
Looking away he could notice that the waterhole was on the way they were taking.
"Do you mind if we stop there for a moment?"

I'm not quite sure, your father told me to check on you. He hasn't seemed quite right since we woke up ... Oh Kiara, have you seen your friend? I haven't seen him around yet
"Mum you know what he's like in the mornings," she said sarcastically, "And kovu? I don't know where he is, mabey he just gone out for a run or something." she suggested, "Lets go and cheer Dad up" Kiara said getting up

Yes it has been a while my friend. I was just on my way to Pride Rock to speak to the King. I sense a disturbance in the air today and I wanted to talk to him about it. Do you know if he's home?
"Yes he was home when I left to get the morning report *theme song plays* do you want me to go and see if he's available this morning?" Zazu asked.

"Your right" she said, a hint of sadness lingering in her voice "The past is behind us, and we can't do nothing about it" she said growing stronger "And sure, I could sure use a drink!"

The sun was in the middle of the sky when Kovu and Jata reached the water hole.
Kovu stepped over to the water and began to drink. Seeing Jata next to him under the shade of the trees he felt he's in paradise. He lay on the floor and tried to rest a little while Jata finished drinking, waiting for her to bring up something to talk about. After a few seconds he fell into sleep.

Simba was still sitting in the exact same spot as he was before. He had been staring off into space thinking about what he had done. -Any moment someone will realize he's gone. What have I done? Was this a good idea? What if someone finds him... no no, there's no way someone can find him.- All these thoughts were running through his head, he did not notice Nala and Kiara approaching him.

"No, it's fine," the old mandrill said waving him off, "go and finish your scouting, I shall make my way to the King myself."

"So much for seeing pride rock" Jata said aloud after she had finished drinking, however she followed kovu's example, she went over and lay down, her head on Kovus back and mane, she sighed happily and fell asleap also

"Daddy?" Kiara called out as she saw him sitting there, "are you alright?" she asked

"OK then Rafiki, I'll finish my report and I'll see you again soon" he said as he flew of to speak to the animal leaders.

After a while Kovu woke up again. Trying to get up he realised Jata was sleeping on top of him. He felt like being there with her forever. He decided to wait for her to wake up.
(Post again tomorrow morning =])

Jata slowly awoke, she self like she never wanted to wake up because she was lying in Kovus soft mane, a purr escaped her throat uncontrolably. She sniffed hard taking in kovu's scent "Kovu" she breathed still purring uncontrolably

"Kovu" Jata said after a few minutes.
"Oh, you're awake." he said. Even though he didn't care about staying there the entire day he sounded like they had to get moving.

Oh, you're awake.
Jata heard Kovus voice and blusshed, getting up she looked just like a love happy cub, her cheeks reddening "Sorry for falling asleap on you." she said "Where do you want to go now?" she asked

(( I replied by saying I'm going to school - Back at about 4 - 5 PM ))

(YAY us for having no school today =O. I'll wait for you to get back)
"Sorry for falling asleep on you." Jata said as she rose to her feet.
"That's okay." Kovu said before he got back on his feet.
"Where do you want to go now?" Jata asked excitedly.
"I think we should be getting back to Pride Rock!" He said while stretching.
All of a sudden he remembered that he was tied up in that cave. What if they'd notice he's missing? What is he going to say when they get back?
"Hey, do you think the pride noticed that I'm missing? What am I gonna tell them?" He asked Jata hoping she'd come up with a sensible idea.
