On the options screen, press: B - A - R - R- Y. This brings up the Level Select Menu, which also has an Invincibility option too. :) Hurray for cheating! ^^ The Sega version has a similar cheat code, although I don't have that one memorized. :)
yup! and you know why it's BARRY? one of the game's designer's is named Barry
However...Wow. That game is so hard. It doesn't even have a password feature. I've never been able to get past level 2. I've only got past the Hippos once, and even then I died once I hit the Ostrich. As of now I can't even get past the first Ostrich. My cousin almost beat it once when he was younger but due to the lack of password feature they couldn't beat it (they had to either leave or they turned it off after a few hours).
for many SNES games, you need the Game Genie to save your progress with a password. it also tends to give you extra lives and even some cheats (I can't play the Scooby Doo game without it XD).
I have the one for GBA. :teehee: It's fun, but there's no save option, so you have to reset each time you play.
actually, there IS a save option. it's built in. that code it gives you when you complete a level you enter at the Password screen from the main menu when you turn the game back on. then you can pick up right where you left off.

the Simba's Mighty Adventure game was certainly a good one, fusing in the GB/GBA version similar levels to the SNES game The Lion King with some new/different levels and TLK2 levels. it's graphics, however, suck compared to its PS1 counterpart.
I think the two I mentioned are the only ones. Disney's Gamebreak!: The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride features arcade games like a Pong/Breakout hybrid, a maze game similar to Pac-Man, and one game where you shoot berries at crocodiles. The fun thing about this game is the random cutscenes that pop up between levels featuring Timon, Pumbaa, Kovu, Kiara, and Zazu (though we only hear one line from Simba, and it's an off-scene growl). For some reason, Disney decided to publish each of these arcade games separately (I've got Swampberry Sling). Why they did this, I have no idea.
no, they did make a CD-ROM that had all of these games on it. I own it, actually. but they also made individual versions too for some reason.

I own/play Timon and Pumbaa's Jungle Games, The Lion King 1 1/2 game, Disney Gamebreak: The Lion King II Simba's Pride, Disney's Active Play: The Lion King II Simba's Pride, The Lion King SNES game, The Lion King Print Studio, The Lion King Activity Center, and a handheld game by TIGER Electronics. the Jungle Games one is most commonly found on CD-ROM or floppy disk, but Anansi found an SNES version on E-bay and got it for my Christmas present. it's graphics aren't as great as the main, official TLK SNES game and seem more the quality of the computer graphics at the time. the gameplay even seems like it should be on a computer. it also has arcade type games like a shooter game, pinball, a Frogger/Sheepish type game, and another one or 2 I forget at the moment. TLKAC isn't just arcade games, though. it has an art area, the traditional African game Achi that you can play against Rafiki or another player, a matching game, and some more. TLK Print Studio is actually pretty disappointing now that you can do so much more complex things with newer print studios. and the handheld game is from the original release in the 90s and has 4 levels. the first 2 levels you play as cub Simba and the other 2 as adult Simba. it's only a 1 color digital screen that overlayed on a painted/printed background that works with every level. game play is mostly just avoiding obstacles, eating bugs (level 3 only), and clawing the hyenas and Scar before they get you. the highest score is recorded until you change batteries which resets it.

there's also The Lion King Screen Scenes and Disney's Animated Storybook: The Lion King (which I've wanted since I saw it on the previews on my TLK video in 1995).

I found the cheats for the Sega Version :)
I should try them at some point ^^

Cheat mode:
Press Right, A(2), B, Start at the options screen. Options for level select and invincibility will be displayed.

Unlimited roars:
Press Right, A, B, C, Start at the options screen. The sound of Simba as an adult roaring will confirm correct code entry.

Random start:
Hold Start on controller two and turn on the Genesis to start at a random level.

I'm confused -- why are you saying "no"? My post said that Disney's Gamebreak! The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride includes the various games I described and that each of the games were released separately. You seem to be repeating what I've already said.
