Kiara was NOT Kovu's first!?

Lionesses nuzzling Kovu is not the same as cheating on Kiara. I see no point in this topic to be honest?

It’s possible that Kovu had an affair with a lioness from the Outlands, but it’s never brought up in the movie. I don’t think Kovu had ever fallen in love with anyone before he met Kiara. It seems that Zira was just focused on training Kovu, teaching him that in the Outlands there is no room for weakness... or love.

I’m sure a lioness or two might have had a crush on Kovu sometime, but in regards to what’s happening in that scene: That’s just pride members showing affection and appreciation towards another member of the pride. There has not been anything to suggest that Kovu had been with any of the Outlander lionesses.

I don't think Kovu had an affair with any of these lionesses. They lived together in the same pride, which means they have a strong bond together, which is different from having a relationship or affair. Kovu was trained during the time he grew up, and I don't think Zira would have him get to other lionesses, since that would ruin her plan to make him king.

I totally get what you’re saying, and I never thought Kovu was cheating on Kiara.. Anyway, like I said, I think you’re reading a bit too much into that simple gesture of affection between pride members..
It’s possible that Kovu had been in love with an Outlander lioness, but as I mentioned in my first post, I think Zira had been keeping him too busy with training to let him develop those kinds of feelings.

Plus, I love the thought of Kiara being the first to awaken feelings of true love within Kovu.

Also, this thread is pretty odd. In theory Simba's first time could have been with Pumbaa for all we know (I hope I don't go too far in saying that. Just trying to make a point.) But the idea is not only ridiculous, and distasteful, but also completely irrelevant in the context of the rest of the movie, and even in the context of the extended fandom aside from a few fringe groups. For those reasons I'm in favor of locking it, and if another mod agrees I think it should be done.

I NEVER said or implied it was seduction. I said they could've been lovers once. They were just glad Kovu was okay though it seems a bit odd they were the only once doing that. And how is the idea "ridiculous" and "distasteful"? I simply stated Kovu could've had other lionesses set up to be his queen since the plan wasn't to have him fall for Kiara anyway.
