Did Zira really die?

Based on her last scene with her paw hanging out the water, it may have indicated that she has died, Disney style, And the severe flow of water stopped shortly before she fell, so she could not have gone THAT far, and the next scene showed us that she has not surfaced. Bam. And I've used wayy too many commas.

Not that long of a drop if you ask me.
And yes there were rocks at the bottom(sharp ones) however when the water comes rushing in those rocks are visibly obliterated.

There weren't that many logs either...

you're looking at the wrong scenes in those screenshots Check out the pics of where Zira is actually falling and you'll see <many> more logs than in your screenshot, not to mention the two logs that pass directly over Zira's raised paw in quick succession.

They hit Zira's paw...
I'm sure that wouldn't be a certain death for her.

As for Zira falling, i haven't seen the scene but i'm sure they already passed by, by the time she hit the water.

1. Mike wasn't trying to suggest that logs hitting Zira's paw killed her. He was using that scene as an example of how many logs there were.

2. If you haven't seen the scene, you're in no position to be arguing about it.

There are defiantly a lot of logs there. Her paw also gets squashed by a log and disappears.

Thanks for that doesn't her paw disappearing like that indicate the implied death of Zira?
