Don't run away. =P
I mean, what can I say? Stuff sucks for you right now. Stuff's sucked for me before. When I first came to boarding school? I learned the meaning of depression: I had my birthday the second week. I knew nobody. I got a card from my parents and celebrated alone in my room with some airheads. It sucked. Not exactly a great birthday.
Things look up though. You'll find that there are people who will be your friends. And your family? They love you. It sounds like its tough love, but believe me, they love you. My parents have never hit me, but I have friends who have been hit with golf clubs (yowch!). It's because they want the best from you. They love you enough to work every day, provide you with food, shelter, a life. Your siblings might rip on you, but believe me, they do love you. And as other people have said, you should look around--you do have it good compared to a lot of people. I went to Honduras on a mission trip, and I saw things that have changed me forever--your situation may seem grim, but it's paradise to the orphaned, starving children I saw on the side of the street, sniffing glue and selling themselves.
I don't know what I can do to inspire you. Sounds like you're where I was in the beginning of boarding school: lost with nobody to latch onto. But things will look up---things are always darkest before dawn. Find an outlet--mine was music. I don't know if you play an instrument, but pouring yourself into it will work wonders for you. Listening to music---there is so much inspiring music in the world! It can help so much. If you want, I can send you some songs that will leave you looking up; Get Me Away From Here I'm Dying by Belle and Sebastian would probably strike a chord with you. Tidal Wave by Owl City, James by Pat Metheny, and You're Not Alone by Saosin are some songs that might make you feel a little better. Give them a listen, Youtube them.
Most of all, just try to hold your head high. Things can and will get better for you, but only if you can shake off your hopelessness. Look around you, there's beauty and wonder and friendship and love everywhere in the world if you can just open your eyes wide enough to see it. So much of life is attitude, and once you get your head of the gutter, you'll see the rain has stopped and the sun is shining down at you.
"Seek not so much to be understood as to understand; not so much to have friends as to be one; not so much to be loved as to love."
