Were the Hyenas mostly male or female?

I always thought the majority were males unless proven (by voice etc) otherwise. But looking at the main 3 Hyenas in the Film, Shenzi is quite easy to spot but in "be prepared" all of the marching Hyenas looked the same. I think they left it to the viewer's imagination, using the same design for each Hyena as a metaphor.

They must have copied and pasted the same Hyena.. Seeing as how many they are in the Be Prepared scene, the animators couldn’t possibly draw them all individually.

As much as I'd like to say that it was pretty much a generally even mix, the chorus of voices in "Be Prepared" suggest otherwise, so it's hard to say. My overall guess is mostly male, but females certainly aren't scarce either.

But don't they sound feminine in the cut reprise? Or possibly it's just their "Hyena" voices..Or maybe those are different Hyenas?

Honestly to me, their voices in BP seem a bit gender neutral.
