Zeke walked to the opening of the cave and looked around. There was nothing in sight but the vast grasslands. With content, Zeke slowly entered the cave after Bakari and waited for the others to find their spots before taking his.

Bakari took his place near the door. If anyone was trying to get at them, he'd give his comrads plenty of time, and hopefully Mila would start feeling better soon. She was either getting sick or going insane, neither option very good for a small group of rogues going against the world. He laid his head on his paws and closed his eyes.

Mila sat near the back of the cave. What's up with me ? Why am I acting so weird? And why does my stomach feel nauseous ?

She laid down, and without anything else happening, went to sleep.

~ The next Morning

Bakari awoke as the rays of sunlight seeped into the dark cave. He stretched his muzzle in a wide, lion yawn baring all of his teeth for the world to see. He got up sleepily and slowly stretched his back, his aging bones feeling fairly sore from yesterday. "Hey guys," he called to the back of the cave. "It's a beautiful sunrise, for anyone who cares."

Mila woke up to the sound of Bakari's voice. She got up and stretched, and noticed something. She was feeling extremely nauseous, and had a major headache.
"Aggh.." Mila said. "I don't feel well.... at all."

Bakari padded back to where Mila was, but he couldn't see anything wrong with her on the surface. "You must just be getting sick," he thought aloud. "We'll stay in the cave and I'll go hunting later to get you some good food in your belly, but right now, lets just lay down here and keep you warm and cozy. At least until Zeke wakes up." Bakari hoped he'd be able to help, he hated to see a fellow lion or lioness feeling sick.

"Yeah.. I don't think I'll be able to move much today. My muscles just don't wanna move." She said. "This stomach pain is horrible. And my head.... the worst headache I've ever had." She moaned.

Bakari laid down next to Mila and softly rubbed her back and shoulders with his paw. He really did want to help, he just wasn't sure exactly how. He hadn't figured out much about healing on his journeys, as a matter of fact he had mostly forgotten everything he once knew about sickness and healing. He just kept messaging and petting her back. "Just let me know if this makes you uncomfortable," he said, thinking about how much Mila seemed to feel for Zeke.

"No.. it doesn't. It kind of helps." She suddenly felt really light-headed. "Woah..." She said, almost falling over. She recovered and sat back up again. "What the heck is with me?" She asked. "I DON'T WANT TO BE SICK!" she yelled. Zeke stirred in his sleep, but did not wake up. "Sorry" she looked at Bakari, and saw him look back at her with a confused stare.

Bakari wasn't sure what to think as Mila snapped momentarily. He tentatively placed his paw back on her shoulder waiting to see if she was going to take his paw off of his foreleg. When all of his appendages seemed intanct, he continued rubbing her shoulders, trying to think of how he might be able to help a headache. "Do you want me to go wake up Zeke?" he offered, thinking that maybe Zeke would be able to comfort her better.
