[Fang]

"Yeah probly!" Max chuckled, the sun climbed the sky and the heat started to scorch Maxes fur. She sniffed around for any sigh of life but couldn't find much, until they came to a group of holes in the ground.
"What are these?" She asked examining one.

[Tanabi]

Zill looked quizicly at the holes,"I'm not sure. I don't remember seeing these when I left the big town." He sniffed it, but still couldn't tell what they were or what they were there for.

[Fang]

Max stuck her paw in one but nothing but air, she sniffed it and it smelled of meercat but the scent was stale.
"I think there Meercat holes." She said looking around.
"Do you think that there might be water around here then?" She asked looking at the sun.

[Tanabi]

"I'd hope so, this heat is killing me." Zill looked around, he could see something nearby. It looked like water,"I think there's some over here." He started running over to it, but as soon as he got close enough it dissapeared, only more meercat holes. "what the? I could swear there was water here."

[Fang]

Max ranced after him "I guess it's the heat, making us hippolusinate." She said. She looked around hoping to find something else. She started to sniff then stopped as the scent of water came over her. She started padding towards the scent, soon a small stream trickled near the meercat's holes. "Over there!" she said.

He walked over to Max, he'd hopped she'd found some real water this time. Zill gave a sigh of relief when she had, it wasn't much but it was better than nothing. "I hope the meercats don't mind if we have some." He bent down and lapped some of the water.

[Fang]

"I don't think they will!" She lapped at the cool liquid and felt it rejuvinate her body. Then when she was done she layed down in the mud next to the stream.
"Finally! Some cool, refreshing, mud!"

[Tanabi]

Zill paused in the middle of lapping some water and stared at Max. "Your one odd ioness you know. I haven't met anyone who's obsessed with being dirty."

[Fang]

Max laughed "Well, It's nice on a hot day and it keeps me warm on a cold day. Besides! Whats the fun of being free without being dirty." She said in a matter of face way. "Lets keep going! I bet that town is closer then ever!"

Zill walked over to Max, while shaking off any mud that got on his paws. "I hope so, maybe baghdad will be cooler than it is here." he started walking ahead and looked at the surroundings,"I wonder if we'll bump into any prides while we're here."
