Name Meaning: (Verb: To isolate, segregate)
Species: Lion
Gender: Male
Age: 2 years (almost an adult in human time)
Affiliation: Rogue
Appearance: Tenga has pale cream colored fur, with a lighter tint along the bottom side of his torso and neck. He is of average size and weight, with more muscle then fat. His muscles are not bulky or apparent. His mane is black and in a curtain style fashion along the front, and has several silver hairs within that mane. The silver hairs were not a sign of old age or stress, just genetic as his father had the same thing. His eyes are a dulled teal, that shine very bright green during the night time. His most distinguishing features are his torn right ear, and a scar that curved from his forehead smoothly down across his left eye and cheek.
Personality: Incredibly silent and isolated. He doesn't usually like helping others, or others helping him. It is this extreme independence that keeps him from making any allies or friends. As he grew up he became a sociopath, not really minding seeing another lion get slaughtered in front of him since the trauma he faced watching his father die. However, deep down inside he is very lonely and wants someone to talk to and just be around. Though he has no friends, he would rather die then watch someone he cares about be killed before him again. (He wouldn't care seeing a regular other rogue die).
History
Tenga was born in the desert after his father had been defeated by the leader of another pride and forced into exile along with Tenga's mother. Shortly after Tenga grew up a bit, his father had been killed before his eyes by the lionesses of the pride his father originally tried to fight to take over. Tenga was carried away by his mother before the lionesses could turn on them. Tenga's mother carried him for miles and eventually fell over out of exhaustion. The young cub tried to wake up his lifeless mother, nudging her cold body with his warm nose. When he released she was dead, he could not help but cry. He stayed with her as long as he could, but figured that if he didn't look for water he'd die. He walked across the desert and could feel himself getting weaker with each step. He looked to the sky that was wavering with the heat, and the vultures that were circling above him. Tenga heard a noise that day that pushed him to survive no matter what the cost. The vultures were laughing at him. They were waiting for him to die so they could feast on his corpse! It was from then on Tenga kept on pushing himself so that he could never die and be devoured by those vultures.
As Tenga grew he learned the ways of a rogue. To locate water in the dry desert. To hunt for food when need be. To kill those that threatened his safety. It was from a great battle with another male rogue that he got his scar and gotten his right ear torn off. Through bitter battles like that, Tenga felt himself become cold hearted and isolated. He never felt the same ever since his parents had both passed away. He just did not make any connections with anyone else since his cubhood.
