Is Nala Vitani's real mother?

that's a fact of TLK2, Vitani and Kovu were banished along with the other Outlanders.

but it wouldn't be that odd for Nala to allow it. no doubt if she had been with Scar, she would be ashamed and might not want a cub to remind her of it. perhaps even she gave it to Zira, since the other lioness was so obsessed with Scar. or perhaps she left her in the pride when she went for help, and upon returning left her as she was with Zira, whom Scar had picked as babysitter. it would, after all, be hard to explain that to Simba what had happened. perhaps it was a little secret between her and the other lionessses.

I honestly don't think that Scar or Nala either one are her parents. but hey, it's still not an impossible situation.

how's it disgusting? sure he's older than her, but it's not like he thought of her in such a way until she was grown. it's not pedophilia or anything. and in reality, after they're grown, age doesn't mean a thing to lions (or a good deal of people). usually, though, the age difference is in the opposite direction with the females being older than the males. lionesses have even been known to have cubs until age 12, and if a new male young male were to overtake the old one, he would very likely be half the age of the older pride females.

the Broadway play version had a scene with Nala and Scar; basically, it was sexual harassment. so I wouldn't say it's JUST for children. and Disney can do what they please, a character betraying another character is normal in the world of movies, even G ones. that's no more child-inappropriate than death or prejudice, which IS in the movies.

Besides this is all hypothetical and we're just spit-balling and speculating. No need to go all srs with us. Of course Disney wouldn't do have the things we are saying. This is why this is a fan-forum, so fans can SPECULATE and take the ideas of the movies above and beyond. It's not like nothing is going to come out of this.

I don’t believe that Nala is Vitanis mother, but here’s a theory on how Nala could know who Vitani was:

Nala could have met Vitani when patrolling the border near the Outlands. I can imagine that Vitani would throw insults and say nasty things about Simba (or Kiara).

that one would be a reasonable one, PK, but there's a big drop and a river as the border between the Outlands and the Pridelands...so it would be rather difficult for them to speak to and get a good view of each other, and it's not likely Vitani would give her name out.

now, there's another idea I had as to how else Nala could've known her name. perhaps Nala caught Vitani in the Pridelands when she was younger, doing spying for Zira. we know from the cut scene "Another Cub" that Vitani has been to the Pridelands spying before, and when she spotted Kovu with Simba that was another one. maybe Nala let her off with a warning that once?

It would be very irresponsible of Nala, being the queen of the lands and all, to not know her surrounding creatures, both friend and foe alike. I think this is where Zazu really comes into play, as he could have just as easily (and most likely did) inform Simba and company about each and every member of Zira's horde, especially after what took place in the beginning of the movie. ^^

Whilst I still believe Zira was Vitani's Mother, I have to say, this is a very possible theory.

Nala is not Vitani's mother..... even if Scar had his way with her with Vitani as a result, I don't think Nala would have ever let Vitani near him and she would have protected and stayed with Vitani through anything, especially going on her past.

Well scar dosent match vitani the eye colors the fur color ect. i think nala iz vitanis mom cos in the movie at the battle scene nala said

Vitani : wheres ur pretty daughter nala?
Nala : Vitani!
