Kiana thought for a second before replying. "Um, maybe that's why she wanted you to stop talking about how we slept. I know her, she doesn't like to talk about things like that. You probably really hurt her feelings when you went on about it.." she paused. "Did you tell her what you told me when you came in? That might be why shes not here anymore." She noticed that Mila hadn't returned with Hokori. "I really hope she didn't do something stupid."

[Zeke]

Hokori's heart sunk and his stomach churned. "Dang, I probably did hurt her feelings. I feel horrible." Hokori paused for a moment and started again. "I just can't go on a day without messing something up. It would be so much easier for all of you if I just left. First, I go down the cliff after Zeke, then I let us get attacked and go blind, then I attack Kovu," Hokori started to tear up a little. "Then Zeke had to take care of me when i was in the cell, and I couldn't help out in the fight, then Mila has to drag me around with her, and now this," As Hokori finished his rant, his voice began to crack up and he was about to cry. "It would be better if I just leave." Hokori got up and began to walk out of the cave.

Kiana got up slowly. "Hokori, wait. Don't leave." She said

[Zeke]

Hokori stopped and spoke. "Why not? All I do is cause trouble. You'd be better off without me."

Kiana ran after Hokori, not aware that her body was telling her not to. When she reached Hokori, she hugged him. "I wouldn't be better off without you, Hokori. You saved me. I would be dead if it wasn't for you. That's not trouble to me." she declared.

[Zeke]

"But that's not what I'm getting at. If I left, it would make most everybody's life better. Mila wouldn't have to drag me around all of the time and you'd get more time with her. I just feel that I have no place here anymore," The depressed lion said and trudged on

"If you leave, you'll die!" Kiana exclaimed. "Mila wouldn't want that! Neither do I!"

[Zeke]

"You may not want it, but it may be best...for everyone," Hokori stated and continued walking aimlessly. He slammed into a wall and used it as a guideline.

"Hokori, no. I don't care if I have to help you daily. I don't care if you cant even walk. I will be there for you." Kiana said. "Don't leave."

[Zeke]

Hokori stopped. "Really?" He didn't belive that Kiana was telling the truth. "Because I'm no help at all..."
