As much as I love Simba, I feel that in SP he was a little off-model character and design-wise. At the end of TLK, he's a very strong, proud of his home, fun-loving guy. In SP, he became overprotective and not really fun-loving at all, they completely changed him so that it would make more sense for Kiara to run off, which is a terrible reason to change a character, to make it suit the plot.

As for cub Simba, he's perhaps a little bit arrogant, but he's a fun-loving adventurous cub who loves to go exploring with his best friend, and I think we can all relate to that.

Simba Simba Simba wot to say hey.m as a cub adventourous courages and gets into trouble but ultimately suffers tragedy at a yound age and runs from it. as a full grown male we see him as stron brave wise and will face up to his responsibility even if it does take a lil convincing. but even as a adult he losses his son Kopa so we see him overprotective of Kiara and quick to judge Kovu but he made a decsion based on wot he thought happened so who can blame him. oh and Simbas awesome.
