The Pride Lands (Zeke, NM, kovu42, morri908)

[Zeke]

The impala quickly made their way toward Zeke. He sprung into action and charged full speed at the herd, pouncing and grabbing one of the impala by the neck. He held on tight, but was hit by a passing impala and was thrown onto the ground. He rolled and was kicked by one of the mammals speeding past him. Roaring in pain, Zeke latched onto the legs of the impala that just kicked him and desperately held on, waiting for assistance.

Mila ran towards Zeke and watched him fall to the ground. He had grabbed on to an impala and it was going to get away. Mila pounced the Impala and sunk her teeth through it's neck. The blow stopped the Impala in it's tracks and it fell to the ground. Mila released her grip on the lifeless Impala and turned her attention towards Zeke. "You okay?" She asked, concerned for the well being of her friend.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Zeke groaned as he slowly lifted himself up. His side was sore from being kicked, but it was nothing major. "Cool." Zeke looked over the impala. It was of a decent size, definately an adult. "We're gonna eat good today." Zeke looked back for Bakari.

Bakari caught up to the group. "Well done you two!" he congradulated them, eyeing the major prize they had brought down. "I actually wasn't expecting that to work, but we've got dinner now!" He ate each morsel slowly, enjoying the warmth in his belly.

[Zeke]

Zeke smiled at Bakari, feeling a sense of great accomplishment. He lowered his head to take a bite. He had almost forgotten what warm meat tasted like. It was amazingly refreshing and the warmth flowed through his body

Mila looked over the kill. "Nice one guys" she said, smiling. After a second or two, Mila felt a sharp pain in her stomach. "Oww..." she exclaimed, and put a paw on her stomach. "What the heck was that?" she asked.

[Zeke]

Zeke whipped his head up and looked at Mila, worried. "Mila, what is it?" He asked in a frantic voice

"I'm... I'm not sure." Mila replied. Another surge of sharp, intense pain ran through Mila's stomach. She fell down on the ground. "Ahhhh...." she uttered. She had never felt anything like it before. "It's not that bad." She said, still wincing a bit in pain.

[Zeke]

Zeke didn't know what to do. He looked to the elder of the group for advise. "Bakari! What's happening? What do we do?"

Bakari looked at Mila, laying on the ground in pain. He tried to think of anything, but he had never experience anything like this before and he was completely at a loss. "I.. uh, I don't know," Bakari uttered. "Did you get hit by the Impala?"
