Kiara chuckled at the memory of her pregnancy. How adorable and attentive Kovu had been. He'd ask her if she needed anything every five minutes. If it weren't so cute, Kiara would've been extremely irritated with all the attention he was giving her. Kiara could recall Kovu panicking quite alot when she told him it was time for the cub to arrive. Kiara noticed that Ayari was very attentive to Vitani as well, but she was not as kind about it. Kiara knew that Vitani was too proud to make her mate do things for her, but it was adorable when Ayari made her eat the food that he hunted for her, even if she wasn't hungry. Perhaps their cubs would grow immensely in strength just from all the food that Vitani was made to eat.
Kiara sighed as she looked to the sky and then she looked over to the narrow river. "I guess it would be best to get going. I can't wait to see Shwari and Zina. Husudu too of course." Kiara stated with a giggle as she began to trot again down towards the river bank. Kiara took a quick gaze at the slow flowing river and quickly jumped in. She resurfaced the top portion of herself and began to walk slowly across the river, with the water cleansing her fur and giving her a nice cool off at the same time. Kiara looked to Vitani hoping she was following along with no problems.

Shwari gazed at his mate lovingly and a smile grew on his face. In all the time that had passed, and all the troubles he caused her by making her move to the jungle with him she still remained as deep in love with him as he was with her. He just sat there staring at his mate for a moment before looking down. "I slept great. How could I not with such a great kingdom? Such a great daughter? Such a beautiful and wise queen?" Shwari murmured as he nuzzled Zina again. If anything he was glad the events of the past occurred. If they had not, then Zina and him would not have met and not been as happy as they were today.
Uzuri's ears twitched as Shwari spoke, and her eyes opened slowly. She fell off Husudu's back with a thud, and stood slowly, rubbing her eyes with the back of her paws. She had grown under Husudu's care her entire life and not for a moment did she regret it. Husudu was a great father, though he was very strict and conservative. He hated the idea of her finding a mate, or even being looked at by males. Uzuri's beauty was a curse in a sense then. She had great admiration and respect for her father, regardless of his protective behavior. She knew she was his only daughter and that it would be difficult to see her go when the time came.
For now Uzuri was just an adolescent lioness however. All she could do was tease the males, showing off what they could not have. Unless they wanted to be killed by Husudu of course, they would make a move. Uzuri looked to her uncle Shwari and quickly trotted up to him. "Good morning uncle and aunty!" Uzuri said fondly bowing her head.
"Don't bow. You know how I feel about that Uzuri" Shwari said quietly as he lifted his niece's chin with the back of his paw so that her head wasn't in a bow. Uzuri chuckled.
"I do it because it is a formality. Daddy said I have to even if you said I shouldn't." Uzuri said with a wide smile.

Teso chuckled at Karima's comment and walked over to the bush. "This? This bush? Hah! It's not worthy of my paw slaps!" Teso said as he flicked one of the leaves. He turned his back on the bush with a bold look on his face. The bush was moving behind Teso's back, and from the bush emerged the huge figure of a rogue lioness, with a hungry look in her eyes.
Teso wasn't paying attention to what was behind him, only to the two cubs in front of him with a look of perplexity on his face. They looked scared of something. "Oh come on guys. The bush isn't really THAT nasty is it?" Teso asked as he turned his head and his eyes narrowed as he finally noticed the towering figure of the rogue.
"My, My. Quite an irresponsible father you have to leave you little ones....all alone." The rogue chuckled darkly as she walked out of the bush completely, making Teso step back in fear.
