Remember the battle scene: Pridelanders vs. Outlanders?
Vitani looks down on Nala from a rock, saying "Where’s your pretty daughter, Nala?" to which Nala angrily replies: "Vitani!" and they fight..
This is something I’ve been wondering about.. What does Vitani mean by saying this? And why does Nala seem to outraged to see Vitani? Is it just because she’s Ziras daughter?
What do you think?

instead, but yeah. It's probably just Vitani's way of getting into her opponents head, much like Zira probably taught her to.
I suppose Disney also wanted to give Nala a decent role in the fight, and seeing that Zira was already busy with Simba, the only canon character left to fill the spot to fight her would be Vitani, which I must say, would be a really close match if they had actually fought longer than however long they did. ^^

I don’t know why I didn’t realize that before.
