tlk2 ending

Hmm, I think Nuka's death really was the straw that broke Zira's back though and lead to the epic showdown at the end of the movie, so I wouldn't say his death was for nothing. ^^ Zira probably would have went ahead and attack Simba's pride again regardless if Nuka had lived or died, but his death just sped up the process. It also gave us a small glimpse of Zira's softer side too, which really did add something to her character.

I think question everyone about, what happened to and where are the hyenas? Nuka said they ran off. I suspect they are out there somewhere plotting revenge on Simba. Since I heard announcements about a fourth movie coming this year, I believe they might return. Someone said that he or she heard rumors about a new Lion King 4, where the Hyenas return and battle the Lions for Pride Rock. It is being developed with the help from the people working on LK 1&1/2. I have no reason to doubt and deny it. What do you think? Pretty cool, huh?

@ nickyaiuto - That definatly sounds very interesting! I would love it if they made another TLK movie. Since the Hyenas just ran off, there’s no reason why they couldn’t return someday..

The ending of TLK2SP is all about acceptance though, despite differences. It's fairly clear that all of The Outlanders have sided with Simba near the end of the movie, and while this doesn't necessarily mean that they've completely had a change of heart, it's obvious enough to tell where they stand at this point in the movie.[/quote]

This is a new start for the outlanders, some of whice probably never even did anything wrong, and just grew up in the outlands.
Zira was the main problem, fueling thier minds with hate. Now that she's gone, they can move on. they just need someone to guide the way really.
I dont think they would turn thier backs on the pridelands.

Vitani is there, she was afterall the first one to take the side of the Pridelanders and stand up to Zira.

But when the Outlanders and Pridelanders form one, united pride, the Outlanders sort of morphs into Pridelanders, making all the lionesses look the same. So Vitani is supposed to be in the pride somewhere..

A couple of the lionesses have Outlanderish features, Vitani is supposed to be one of them, part of the crowd.

Then if you look at this picture:

The lionesses all look the same. And when the lionesses is seen roaring in approval, they all look the same.

Vitani has to be there, but she’s not pointed out. She was never a major character, so her appearance in this seen is not very important for the animators to show/establish. The major point in this scene is that all the lions suddenly look the same, underlining the meaning of We Are One. Remember what Kiara said: "Them? Us! They are us. What differences do you see?" (Certainly none after they return to Pride Rock.)

Plus, poor Vitanis design had been pretty inconsistant throughout the whole movie anyway.

I would'nt trust them though. Their entire life was based on trying to murder Simba.
