Yes, of course we want to have cubs.. But we’re waiting for the time being. We’re still quite young, and I won’t even be Queen for some time yet. Until we do get cubs, Kovu and I just want to enjoy being together while there is still just the two of us, hehe.

Are you at all afraid that Vitani might try to hurt Simba?

No, I’m not worried about that. Zira was the one with a thirst for revenge against my father, Vitani just followed Ziras orders.. I don’t think Vitani has anything against my father, so I’m not scared that she would hurt him. Besides, she’s fully accepted as a Pridelander, and I doubt she would risk losing everything by attacking my father.

What do you think of zazu?

I like Zazu. I think he’s a nice bird. He has a dry wit, but he is extremly loyal and hard-working.

Apart from being annoyed with Timon and Pumbaa following you after being sent by your father alot, what ele do you think of them? Do you like them both too? If you and Kovu start a family, are you planning to them both babysit your cubs?

When Timon and Pumbaa are not following me around, I think they are nice. I like both of them, but they can get on my nerves sometimes. Especially when they’re offering me bugs!

When Kovu and I start a family, I will not let Timon or Pumbaa babysit my cubs. I will allow my cubs their space and personal freedom. Of course, to make sure they are safe I would send someone with them on longer trips. Perhaps Zazu or a lioness from the pride. I think I will let my cubs explore on their own most of the time, I know from excperience how annoying it is to have someone follow you everywhere.

Well, yeah! *giggles* I learned from the best, right? Seriously, though, I feel confident and secure now about assuming the throne, even if it’s not going to happen for some time yet.. I feel there is still a lot I need to know, but I also believe I will grow with the task. As for Kovu, I know he will make a great king. He’s a kind and fair person, and I know we’ll rule the Pride Lands well together.
