TG's TLK dictionary: get to know the fandom!

If you're going to add one TLK song abbreviation, you might want to put them all, rather than posting every time a bolt of inspiration hits you and you write an abbreviation for a particular song. If you're really serious about this, (and calling it a "dictionary") You're going to need to keep it alphabetical as well lol

I don’t think we use any other song abbreviations than these:

CYFTLT - Can You Feel The Love Tonight

IJCWTBK - I Just Cant Wait To Be King

LWFAW - Love Will Find A Way

They are the only ones I’ve ever seen, at least. All the other songs have pretty short titles, so I don’t see the need to make abbreviations for them, personally.

I've seen CoL used before to reference Circle Of Life and I suppose it all depends on how lazy the person is whose typing, as anything and everything could (and usually does) get turned into an abbreviation of some sort online. >.>

I wholeheartedly agree with Mike though, that the list should be alphabetized though, as it will make finding said abbreviations, much easier to locate if need be, especially depending on if/when this list gets longer.

It’s a good idea to add that one. I’ve also seen people use Saffy for Sarafina.

Well, I have to keep maintaining this, Mike, but if I want to do it in alphabetical order, I'm afraid I will mess up things.... If someone wants to alphabetize the terms in the dictionairy, I will put that in the starting post

About member names, I don't know them all! I will make a start with them (it's at the bottom of the dictionary) and if you miss names, let me know in this thread! thanks for your help everybody!

Avatar/Avvie: Small 150x150 pixel icon displayed below your name that makes it easier for other members to recognize you. There is a whole gallery of TLK related avatars in the Avatar Gallery in the User Control Panel.

UCP: User Control Panel, which members can access to change their board and profile settings.

MCP: Moderator Control Panel, used by the mods to moderate the site.

ACP: Administrator Control Panel, Moka uses this to update and configure the board.

PM: Private Message, a message that you can send to one or more members without anyone else seeing it. You have a limit of 350 messages you can send.
